(Before It's News)

Every day we are distracted by events either closer to home or on the front page news or what’s offered on television. There is too much happening out there to properly keep up and we forget about the fact that we should be demanding responsibiltiy lest the same thing happens in our own back yard.

Because the consequences of some events like the Gulf Oil Spill and the Fukushima Tsunami, continue to invade and destroy parts of our planet’s total environment. And no matter how far away they may be.from us, to the people on the scene it seems like genocide.

The Gulf Oil Spill is still spilling, still killing…

You realize, don’t you, that this video is nearly four years old?

    • kako2000

anonymous what you don’t realize is the oil is still seeping io the gulf.

    • Tom Dennen, the paranoid historian

four years! My God! If it’s that old it couldn’t possibly be relevant now, could it? Or are you one of the masses that feed off current events only, sans consequences?

What should be done is A class action law suit for all people’s,environment, and mother earth her self to the tune of $999 trillion dollars along with the release of the “FREE” energy!

    • Torch and Pitchforks

If there is “free” energy, you don’t need anyone to release it: Just use as much of it as you please. . .

Do you realize that NG is owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp? The same corp that owns Fox News.

HE walked on our white sand at Pensacola Beach along with then Governor Christ smelling up HIS crotch. After stopping traffic and commerce for 4 hours as HIS motorcade passed thousands of people hoisting signs saying “WAIVE THE JONES ACT”, HE gave a speech at Pensacola Naval Air Station promising how HE would activate every military and civilian measure at HIS disposal to keep the oil off our pristine shoreline. Then at some point on Air Force One, HE remembered their creed “never let a good catastrophe go to waste”, HE instead sold us out during HIS first Oval Office speech to the nation. Instead of even considering waiving the Jones Act and allowing capable Norwegian & Dutch vessels scoop up the oil, HE decided to use this catastrophe to promote HIS Cap & Trade agenda. Three days later our beaches were black with oil sludge. No one eats seafood from the Gulf. No local restaurants serve what used to be the best seafood in the world, to this day. It may take decades before we discover the harmful effects of the dispersants BP used on the health of all Gulf Coast residents and wildlife. Yet the biggest tar ball of all is still in the White House.

I grew up in LA and I now live in FL. I personally know people who were on the scene right after the well blew up. BP dispersed chemicals that made the oil sink to the bottom. They didn’t ask permission, they just did it to minimize media coverage. BP was prosecuted under the Obama administration. They were forced to pay huge fines and some people even went to jail. Your story is typical of the Republican’t regurgitated rhetoric that’s polluting the Internet with fairy tales and lies. Is the Gulf still polluted? Yes, but Obama had nothing to do with it. Next time you get a pimple on your ass, don’t forget to blame it on Barry.

I just looked up BP oil spill and it says that it was sealed in 2010, but supposedly there is still a leak.
Read this info below. It’s from Wikipedia…
A massive response ensued to protect beaches, wetlands and estuaries from the spreading oil utilizing skimmer ships, floating booms, controlled burns and 1.84 million US gallons (7,000 m3) of Corexit oil dispersant.[10] After several failed efforts to contain the flow, the well was declared sealed on 19 September 2010.[11] Some reports indicate the well site continues to leak.[12][13] Due to the months-long spill, along with adverse effects from the response and cleanup activities, extensive damage to marine and wildlife habitats, fishing and tourism industries, and human health problems have continued through 2013.[14][15] Three years after the spill, tar balls could still be found on the Mississippi coast.[16] In July 2013, the discovery of a 40,000 pound tar mat near East Grand Terre, Louisiana prompted the closure of waters to commercial fishing.
I truly hope there isn’t a leak. We have enough disasters already. If this is true I feel so bad for Mississippi and everyone affected by the oil spill. I don’t know about you, but I stopped eating seafood because of this. I am not taking any chances.

They are not researching. I think it was Clint Eastwood or one of the Hollywood people who contacted the WH during the BP Oil Spill, that they had invested in a machine(?) or something that can (for the lack of a better word) … divide the oil from the water making it clean again.

    Obama ignored the phone call.
