Very Bad News for Europe’s Young People
If young people in Europe were a company, I would be telling you to sell the stock.
Why? Well, because politicians want to help them. And, as perfectly illustrated by this Eric Allie cartoon (as well as the cartoon he has at the bottom of this post), government at best unintentionally harms those it tries to help.
To see what I’m talking about, here’s some of what the EU Observer is reporting today.
EU leaders gathering in Brussels on Thursday (27 June) for a two-day summit will again turn to measures aimed at helping young people to get jobs, as unemployment figures soar in southern countries. The summit kicks off at 4.30pm local time with a meeting between leaders, trade unions and employers’ associations, to hear what actions they are taking to boost youth employment. …The European Commission has already drafted a paper on how the EIB could boost its lending powers. Its loans are used mostly by small and medium enterprises, which could hire more young people if they get the money to fund expansion. Under the most ambitious scenario, EIB lending could exceed €100 billion.
How stereotypical. Big business, big labor, and big government are getting together and considering a €100 billion slush fund that will line their pockets.
They want us to believe this will lead to more jobs for young people, but they overlook (and hope we’re unaware of) Bastiat’s warning about the seen and the unseen.
Expanding the EIB will simply divert resources from more productive uses.
So what’s the answer? Here’s what I recommended as part of some speeches earlier this month in Europe.
I began with what should be a common-sense observation that businesses won’t create jobs unless they think new workers will add to the bottom line.
I then outlined some of the ways big government undermines incentives to create jobs by making workers more expensive.
I also explained that Keynesian spending schemes won’t create jobs.
Last but not least, I warned that workers will be less likely to seek jobs if government handouts alter the tradeoff between work and leisure.
Regarding this final slide, I shared in my speeches this amazing chart about the anti-work incentives created by the safety net in the United States, as well as some similar startling data from the United Kingdom.
Sadly, none of my audiences included senior European officials. And even if they were in the audience, I doubt they would have learned anything.
After all, why support an agenda of free markets and small government when that would reduce their power and influence?

I think they do and they are trying to undermine our country to force out capitalism so the “Shadow Rulers” of government can exploit all the people for their benefit.
Problem … Communism is atheistic and hates Christianity. Hence they eliminate public prayer, Bible in Public places, and convert educational system into a propaganda system to raise low esteem, low ambition, followers who are dependent on their “benevolence at their price!

Yes because that’s going to empower young people to take a stand against the current system thats stripping them of a secure future.

Get them a job
Allow them to save for old age
The problem with cowering in a church whilst being told your powerless and nothing and to let God’s will controlyur life.
Means a lack of confidence in oneself and an inability.to affect positive change.
Which in turn will keep the very same evil selfish peoplei control, with little to no opposition.
Either you bible believing regards understand this and support it. Or you simply.can’t see the real world due to your mental programming and slavery.
Either way…. It’s enough reason for intelligence to despise the curse on the evolution of man, that is religion.

If the Bible turns people into such slaves why do totalitarian states throughout the world and across all times seek to ban it with such ferocity?
Perhaps because the message of the Bible is that even the smallest among us is worthy of respect and dignity because we are made in the image of God.
Or perhaps it is the Bible message that “the first shall be last and the last shall be first.”
The Bible is a manifesto for revolution against the Powers and Principalities of this world.

Liberal = The idea that other people are not your property.
Christianity, or any religion, Fascism and Communism = dictatorships, where they believe people are their property. There is no difference between them apart from their labels.
Atheism = the disbelief in gods. Everyone is born an atheist, you have to be brainwashed from birth into believing otherwise.
Capitalism = slavery, because someone is always willing to use slave labor to undercut their competitors.
Secular law = restricts religious draconianism and applies equality. ie you are no longer allowed to burn people alive for disagreeing. Long may it reign.

There’s right now plenty of jobs for them.
Like joining the Free Syrian Army & bringing Democracy to Syria, then bringing Democracy to Iran, then bringing Democracy to North Korea there is a lot of places today in the world that need Democracy!
So there is a lot of future jobs for them.
When you are talking politics, “helped to get jobs” – Forced into slave labor. One of the things that has been happening is the big shops are sacking people, and then being sent back by the Job Center to the same shop to work for free. The government can then claim there is some economical recovery… well der, slave labor will do that every time.
