Israel; Don't Go it Alone!

With the recent actions at the U.N. and favorable posturing toward Iran by the USA, Israel is being pushed into a trap. In response, Israel has been hinting that she has the right to go it alone against Iran, and is indicating that she may do so in the near future.

I support Israel and her right to the land that God gave her, and I support her right to protect herself, however I feel that if Israel “goes it alone” against Iran, that it will result in horrible consequences for Israel and the world.

Here is what I can foresee happening. Israel launches a preemptive strike against Iranian nuclear facilities. Iran fiercely retaliates, and an all out war breaks out between Israel and Iran. Iran’s allies quickly join in, either directly or indirectly. Israel wants the USA to help—we are hesitant. An attack occurs on American soil and we get involved. This brings in China and Russia and missiles fly—welcome to WWIII.

Due to the abrupt cutting off of Middle East oil the world economies collapse resulting in hyperinflation. And about that time a worldwide pandemic breaks out. After all is said and done ¼ of the world’s population is dead and countries across the world will be in absolute chaos.

After this 91 day period the world will be begging for a solution to their problems, of which they will blame Israel for, and great persecution will come against her. Then “the special” will fly down onto the scene to solve the world’s problems. He will bring peace to the world, unite the religions of the world, and establish a new worldwide monetary system via the mark of the beast system. This special person, who will claim to be from another planet, and will cause a great falling away from the faith, is known in other circles as the antichrist.

Of course that little narrative is just fiction, right? Some of it may not work out exactly as I have envisioned, but read Revelation chapter 6 and the account of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse and you will see that many of these things will happen. So in other words I believe that if Israel goes it alone she will set off WWIII and the major events of the end times. So I advise Israel to not go it alone!

So what is the solution to the trap that she finds herself in? For her to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, confess her national sins, and call out to God for deliverance from her enemies.

If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the Lord, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove. Jer 4:1

Israel, I support you, but I warn you that if you go it alone, I foresee that the consequences will be severe! Will you repent and acknowledge Jesus as savior? I hope some of you do now, but as a nation unfortunately you will not until you are persecuted and driven into the wilderness by the antichrist.

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. Zechariah 12:10

Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen Revelation 1:7

So Israel what will it be; WWIII or call out to Him in repentance? Unfortunately I know the stark reality of the near future as revealed in Revelation.
