3 Days of Darkness, Bible References, There Will Be One Sign for Us - 3 Days of Darkness Before Rapture

There will be ONE SIGN FOR US:
before Jesus Christ comes back at the Rapture moment;
that is the 3 Days of Darkness over the whole world.

Matthew 12:39-40
But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

1 Corinthians 15:4
and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,

Sign of Jonah is 3 days in the belly of the fish; great darkness
Jonah 1:17
Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

Luke 11:29
And while the crowds were thickly gathered together, He began to say, This is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet.

3 Days of Darkness happened before in the Bible:
before God’s People were going to the Promised Land

Exodus 10:21-23

The Ninth Plague: Darkness

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, darkness which may even be felt.” ²² So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. ²³ They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.
(THIS IS THE TIME it happened before IN THE BIBLE).

Joshua 24:7
So they cried out to the Lord, and He put darkness between you and the Egyptians, brought the sea upon them, and covered them. And your eyes saw what I did in Egypt. Then you dwelt in the wilderness a long time.

There will be darkness on the earth again before the Rapture:

Joel 2:30-32 
“And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. (so it means that people will be repenting during the 3 days of darkness, and God will save them, give them salvation – great soul harvest).

Ezekiel 30:3
“For the day is near, Even the day of the Lord is near; it will be a day of clouds, A time of doom for the nations.” 

Ezekiel 32:7-8

When I put out your light, I will cover the heavens, and make its stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, And the moon shall not give her light. All the bright lights of the heavens I will make dark over you, And bring darkness upon your land,” says the Lord God.

Job 10:22
A land as dark as darkness itself, As the shadow of death, without any order, Where even the light is like darkness.”

Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. ⁷ Therefore all hands will be limp, Every man’s heart will melt, ⁸ And they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; They will be amazed at one another; Their faces will be like flames. ⁹ Behold, the day of the Lord comes, Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, To lay the land desolate; And He will destroy its sinners from it. ¹⁰ For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not give their light; The sun will be darkened in its going forth, And the moon will not cause its light to shine.

Zechariah 14:6-7
It shall come to pass in that day That there will be no light;
The lights will diminish. ⁷ It shall be one day Which is known to the Lord— Neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen That it will be light.

Joel 2:2 
A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations.

After two days He will revive us;

(Here it is in plain sight — on the third day, it says how many days, after how many days He’ll raise you up – He will ‘RAISE US UP’, either means we’ll get raptured or it means we’ll be taken out of the darkness phase, meaning the darkness will end after 3 days…
SO THAT WE MAY ‘LIVE’ IN HIS SIGHT’…we will be living with Him then, after the 3 days, meaning we will be able to LIVE WITH HIM then … SO WE NEED TO GET TO HEAVEN SOMEHOW TO BE ABLE TO LIVE WITH HIM IN SIGHT… so we’ll get raptured sometime after the 3 days of darkness in order to be able to ‘LIVE IN HIS SIGHT’.

Amos 5:8 
He made the Pleiades and Orion; He turns the shadow of death into morning
And makes the day dark as night; He calls for the waters of the sea
And pours them out on the face of the earth; The Lord is His name.

Amos 5:18
Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.

Amos 5:20-22
Is not the day of the Lord darkness, and not light? Is it not very dark, with no brightness in it?
(means pitch black)

 “And it shall come to pass in that day,” says the Lord God,
“That I will make the sun go down at noon, And I will darken the earth in broad daylight;

Zephaniah 1:15
The day is a day of wrath, A day of trouble and distress, A day of devastation and desolation, A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness.

Isaiah 5:30
In that day they will roar against them Like the roaring of the sea. And if one looks to the land, Behold, darkness and sorrow; And the light is darkened by the clouds.

Revelation 6:12-17 Sixth Seal: Cosmic Disturbances 
I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the starts of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

Isaiah 60:1-3 
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. ² For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. ³ The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.

Luke 21:11
And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.

Luke 21:25-26
And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

What should you do? 

Isaiah 26:20
Come, My people, enter your chambers, And shut your doors behind you; Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, Until the indignation is past.

(GO IN YOUR HOUSE AND CLOSE THE DOOR, draw your blinds or curtains etc to HIDE yourself from the evil that will be outside, AND STAY THERE UNTIL ALL THIS PASSES … pray, repent of your sins, fast if you can, read the Bible for strength and encouragement and comfort and GOD WILL PROTECT you safe inside of your house)

Mark 14:24-27
“But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.
(AFTER THE TRIBULATION – MEANS after the EARTHQUAKE etc OF SEAL 6 of Revelation 6:12-17, then the sun goes dark, which is the 3 days of darkness, then sometime after the darkness passes, sometime after the 3 days of darkness goes away…it doesn’t really say how soon after that … can assume that either right away after the days of darkness or sometime after the days of darkness…it doesn’t really say…then Jesus shows up to rapture us…)

Hosea 6:3 
Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning: He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkeness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

2 Peter 3:10-13
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening to the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless, we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Amos 3:7 
Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

Ecclesiastes 1:9
That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.

God will keep you safe if you are His Child:

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling.

Psalm 121:1-8 
I will lift my eyes to the hills – From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.

Please take these verses to the Lord in prayer…pray about it, let Him reveal it to you personally; please get ready for the Coming of the Lord. Please make sure your whole family is saved and ready for any day now.

If you want to assign your soul to Jesus Christ, The Son of God and if you want to ask forgiveness from God for your sins so that you can accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour: say a prayer like this one or one of your own.
Dear Jesus Christ, The Son of God, I have much sin in my life and I need You as my Saviour. I’m so sorry for my sins against You, against Your Laws, against Your Word. Please forgive me for my sins, as I also forgive others their wrongs against me. I believe You shed Your blood, died on the Cross, rose from the dead on the 3rd day, to pay the full penalty of my sins, so that I can have the free opportunity to the free gift of eternal life with You in Heaven. Please be the center of my life from now on, and please help me to develop a close and personal relationship with You, my Creator. I receive Your Holy Spirit into my heart right now, as a seal that I’m now Your Child. Please take care of me forever. Please help me to be counted worthy to escape God’s wrath, and to be included in the Rapture. Thank you for everything You’ve done for me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
