Most people think that Moses parted the sea.
But the truth is that God did all that by a strong east wind that grew in strength overnight.
Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided.
– Exodus 14:21 (NKJV)
The point here is that the wind wasn’t “full strength” instantly, but that it took a while to build up.
The same is true for seals, trumpets, and plagues. They are not “full strength” yet, but we can already see that they are present, and are increasing in strength.
God does this to warn us.
And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
– Revelation 6:3-4
The second seal is War, and it’s easy to see that this is getting worst. From WW1, to WW2, to Vietnam, to Iraq, to Afghanistan, to Syria, to …, etc.
It just doesn’t stop.
People are already talking about WW3.
Just before the Second Coming of Jesus, all of humanity will be at war, e.g. Armageddon.
The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
– Revelation 8:7
Recently there have been more and more fires (Australia, USA, and New Zealand).
The most recent one was in Christchurch, New Zealand:
And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
– Revelation 16:3
That’s not blood of course. I think it’s just some kind of algae.
But it does clearly remind us of a “blood-red sea”.
Don’t be fooled by the “peacefulness” of the world we live in.
God is clearly reminding us of what it is to come.
