Mass Shooting Thwarted In Arizona By Concealed Carrier – Think The Socialist Gun Grabbers Will Mention This?

While people like Piers Morgan, Barack Obama and Dianne Feinstein continue to push fear-mongering over guns, a recent story makes the point that guns are not evil, but rather a good deterrent to evil. This couldn’t be more apparent than at a recent party that took place in Arizona, where a citizen who was carrying his weapon probably saved everyone at the party from a gunman with a rifle.
A 27-year-old man got into an argument at with some party goers. After a time, the man was asked to leave, and he did.
A short while later he returned. Armed with a rifle, he began firing off shots outside the home.
What happened next is reported by AZ Central:
The man pointed the rifle at partygoers and a 39-year-old partygoer pulled out a handgun and shot the 27 year old before police arrived, Glendale Police Department spokeswoman Officer Tracey Breeden said. The shooter did not try to leave and waited for officers to arrive.
The shooter has been cooperative with investigators, she said. He was questioned and released by detectives.
“This is standard procedure under these type of circumstances,” Breeden said. “Information and evidence detectives have gathered leads them to believe the 27-year-old was not only firing his rifle, endangering partygoers, but also pointed the weapon at other partygoers, endangering them, prior to the 39-year-old displaying a weapon and shooting the 27-year-old.”
The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending, Breeden said.

It almost makes me want to ask each party goer that was there, the same question that INTERPOL Secretary General Ronald K. Noble asked and that is would you rather live in an area that has gun prohibition or one that allows law abiding citizens to carry their weapons lawfully?

The gentleman that was “packing” at the party shot the one that was asked to leave the party, who then left that said party, grabbed a weapon, a rifle in this case, returned to the party in order to shoot innocent party goers, therefore, committing a crime. If your insinuating that there needs to be laws on the books which remove firearms from people then your sadly mistaken because those type of laws only affects law abiding citizens. Criminals are the ones who do not obey the laws and they would still have the guns, law or not. So, i.e., guy that is asked to leave, criminal, brings gun back to the party so as to seek some sort of revenge, but the other guy, law abiding citizen, has no gun now to protect himself and other innocent people. The azcentral article says he fired a rifle (what kind? A .22, an AR15? What?), a hunting rifle I would presume, because if was an assault rifle it likely would have said so, and he fired it *outside*. There’s no indication that he was trying to get inside to shoot. Maybe, time will tell. But the point is if he had an AR-15 or pair of Glocks with 30-round clips, or something worse, then how many people would have died before the “hero” shot him? 2? 5? 30?
How many guns would PREVENT that?! NONE!!!!

Since we do not know details about the rifleman, i.e. does he have a violent criminal record, is he mentally disturbed, etc., we can’t concluded that background checks, licensing, etc. would have prevented him having that weapon, fine, but the proliferation of guns in our society IS the problem.
You may think that you’re a law-abiding gun owner who knows how to properly use their weapons. And maybe you are. But *I* don’t know that. Unless you put a law enforcement uniform on, *to me* you’re a homicide/s waiting to happen. And *you* don’t know that about anyone else either! The article clearly states that he came back to that party, after being asked to leave, shooting his rifle off outside……….then, he proceeded inside where he then aimed it at the crowd.
