Merv Sheppard's Transplant Network
Retired after 25 years as a Drug Rep and Continuing Medical Education Manager with Wyeth. I was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis in October of 1999 and was in end-stage respiratory failure when I received the "Gift of Life" of a single-lung transplant in April of 2002. I will be forever grateful for my second chance at life and am now an advocate for Organ & Tissue Donation Awareness and Transplant Research Funding.
