Former skeptical left of center, turned Paleoconservative. Blogger for 7 years, started in 2006. Born and raised in Southwest Detroit. I started writing about politics because of my disgust with George W. Bush and quickly found out that the Democratic Party of my parents and grandparents was not that of the one today. Needless to say, I have learned a good deal and I am simply an Americanist now. In fact, that is the name of my blog! :)
