Colorado 'Red Flag' Gun Bill Passes 1st Hearing

A Colorado House committee has passed “red flag” legislation that would permit the temporary seizure of guns from people deemed by a court to pose a threat to themselves or others.
The Democrat-led House Judiciary Committee voted 7-4 on party lines late Thursday to send the bill to the chamber’s appropriations committee.
The legislation would allow family or law enforcement to seek a court order to have guns seized if they believe the gun owner poses a threat.
If a judge approves a request, a subsequent court hearing would determine whether to extend the seizure, up to 364 days. It’s up to the gun owner to prove he or she no longer poses a threat to get the weapons back.
Senate Republicans defeated a “red flag” bill last year, arguing it infringed on Second Amendment rights.
Democrats took over the Senate in November’s elections to control both chambers.
Gov. Jared Polis, a Democrat, called for a “red flag” law during his 2018 campaign.

It is unconstitutional . Folks in Colorado better git off their ass or they’ll not have any rights left. Congress is carving away at everyone’s rights daily. They think this is their responsibility to make new laws daily while thousands of illegals , packing disease , drugs and with their hands out, on a daily basis. They ,politicians, just want more welfare recipients who can vote . we need term limits and drug tests for these politicians immediately, if not sooner.
A boiling the frog moment so obvious. Exactly what constitutes a THREAT? Many things do, already. So that means all or anything can be considered a threat. Even not so obvious ones as well as obvious ones. They are two and the same.
This is getting their foot in the door for total disarmament and dismantling of the Militia (yet to be created as required but no government official has done that for obvious reasons because it would be a THREAT to them).

There is no where in the constitution that says any corporation offering gov services has the right to remove an Unalienable Right which is the point.
They simply have zero constitutional authority to take away anyone’s firearms and the concept of per-crimes is right out of the movies.
Remember innocent until proven guilty. These traitors do care, they just want more power and have shown themselves to have no problems committing treason against the people and the constitution they swore an oath to uphold.
It is coming down too civil war , plain and simply put. A few years back the Colorado legislature passed a Illegal gun ban o n semi-auto weapons with weapon capacity of 10 or more rounds. However police officers, county sheriffs, deputies, Highway patrol personnel , REFUSED too obey that illegal law because it would have put their officers in harms way. Only 1 county in the whole state of colorado obeyed they illegal law, the , as we say it in colorado, El-Piso, sheriffs office obeyed the illegal law. Btw that is the ElPaso county sheriffs office. Colorado has always been the Rebel state, like during the prohibition days Booze was available in large quantities in colorado, and Homesteading, etc etc. Basically dont , f o c k with us state!!! Many of you may not be aware of this , but::: the Constitution plainly states that , any, and it means ANYone , especially politicians, commit treason against the constitution, then WE the PEOPLE are under OBLIGATION too arrest the said person, or persons, under PENALTY OF LAW!!! What that means is if none of us do something about this , then we are just as guilty as the treasonous ones !!!!! I dont know about colorado , but i do know that here in the state of Kansas, the militias are locked and loaded, and i mean that literately!! I hear them prepping every month down by the river, locally, they know what is coming, and have told the state legislatures , *( dont screw with our guns ). ATM here in the state of kansas , you do not have too have a concealed carry license too have a pistol in your car. And we have a way around the , Brady Law, so that if you wanted too purchase a pistol, all you have too do is, A-pass the background check, 2 have the cash, then buy rounds, then walk out of the store with your pistol. Then throw the pistol in your glove compartment or wherever you want too.I used too live in colorado, and in fact it is my birth place, but this BS!, has got too stop, or else we are all dead!, cause trust me, once were either disarmed, or weak because we let ourselves get weak, then, then they will round us up, and God help us when that happens. , but as you all know me , im a Christian, and as one i know its going too get horrible, before it gets better. Jesus himself said that a , ( Great Tribulation ), would come and would be the worst ever seen since mankinds beginning , and would be terrifying. He of course offered comfort stating that soon his Kingdom given too him by his Father Jehovah, would replace this corrupt worlds governments, and usher in a Reign of peace such as never been seen before. If the court already found that a person is malicious according to the law, then he should no be carrying a gun.
