Easter is more or less an unofficial kickoff to Spring Breaks. If you are planning to travel during the Easter break, remember this is one of the busiest times of the year for air travel and even bus travel.
While Easter is not widely seen as a major travel holiday, that honor goes to Thanksgiving, the weekend it falls on still tends to be quite busy for travel.
The timing of spring break varies from year to year and school to school but usually hits around late March. Easter this year is on April 1st. (Happy Fools Day:)

Moreover, Sundays, are one of the busiest travel days of the week as it is a favorite of those travelers who went away for the weekend and must return to work on Monday.
As with other holidays, and if you do have to go someplace, it is best to travel on the days surrounding the actual holiday. For Easter, it might be best to depart on Thursday before Good Friday and return the Monday after Easter Sunday.
