Syrian Rebels Invade Lebanon But Are Ambushed By Hezbollah, 16 Dead
15 Syrian rebels and 1 Hezbollah member were killed inside Lebanon after Hezbollah ambushed them while they were setting up to launch rockets inside Lebanon. The latest fighting took place near Ain el-Jaouze in a finger of Lebanese territory which extends into Syria.
The Syrian rebels have been shelling Lebanese border towns that are Hezbollah strongholds such as Hermel and Arsal for weeks now killing several people. They have also killed several LAF soldiers. This current confrontation marks a first in this tit-for-tat conflict as both sides continue to do all out battle inside Qusayr. The rebels recently were reinforced with 1,000 more troops in a bid to break the Syriam army’s grip on Qusayr.
Rebels tried to relieve some pressure from the Qusayr front by attacking in Northern Homs but were repulsed with 28 killed. Syrian armed forces lost 6 dead whn rebels attacked a checkpoint but were able to hold the checkpoint. -Mort

International terrorists getting their asses kicked by LAF is good news in anyones book. Why they feel the need to go into other areas is to agitate for wider conflict and further the goals of their handlers, Israel, Suadi Arabia, Qatar and others have a vested interest in this course of action. It takes away the pressure at home with their own protests and creates a buffer zone to maintain their monarchies and dictatorships. Strange how Obama calls for Assads removal when the nations arrayed against him have exactly the same ruling class set up, the man is a hypocrite.
