Five Feet Of Lake Effect Snow Projected For Areas East Of Lake Ontario
The area may be known for such, however five feet of snow is what I am forecasting for some areas starting tomorrow through mid-week east of Lake Ontario.
This is lake effect snow, the area sees three feet sometimes, but over FIVE FEET of snow has popped up on my forecast model grid for this area. The city of Adams, NY lies right in the path of this heavy deep accumulating snow.
A large trough carved over the area through mid-week will bring about these conditions. Use the map above to find out how much snow will fall. I started the lowest scale at 12″ (One Foot) because the scale goes up over FIVE FEET! … Wow …
