Blizzard Conditions Possible This Weekend For Southern New England To Maine

Still about 24 hours out, by this evening I will have a complete outlook on the conditions for Blizzards across Southern New England, including CT/RI/MA – SE NH and ME … At the current time, snowfall is slightly more north than first thought for IN/KY/IL/OH, which means the system has more moisture and is pulling northward.  So with that being said the downstream track means the storm is going to be closer to the coast, affecting New England with heavy snowfall, gusty wind gusts over 35+ mph … and thus Blizzard Conditions.

Most of the snow will fall in Southern New England around Boston and up the Maine Coast and Inland.  However, Blizzard conditions are possible from Eastern Long Island northward through parts of CT/RH/MA/NH, and of course Maine.

Significant Snow means 12″ or higher on this map update …
