SCWXA Tornado Forecast Model Officially Detects Tornado Dynamics On Friday In Metro Southern California

(Southern California Weather Authority.com) – Forecasts here at the Southern California Weather Authority went viral when an article of major storm containing severe thunderstorms and even tornado dynamics was released days ago.  News media stations have visited the site and over 500,000 people have seen the article since the release.  Others are running with the SCWXA forecast that severe thunderstorms are heading to metro Southern California on Friday and now it is official … the tornado forecast model used in the Plains and Midwest on my research is pegging values in Southern California.

The tornado model-mask I developed for Tornado Alley across the Central/Eastern United States has brought values into metro Southern California.  The image shows such values above with the red grid across Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Metro zones.   This red-grid is the area to watch for severe thunderstorms later Friday, containing the very good chance of supercell structures that could bring damaging winds, hail, and even tornadic activity.
