Tuesday and Wednesday Noreaster Risks Released As Meteorological Bomb Forms

(TheWeatherSpace.com) – The official risk map here at TheWeatherSpace.com has been released on the meteorological bomb nor’easter expected starting Tuesday, going into Tuesday night, and then into Wednesday for areas of Canada and Maine.  Forecast projections do not look like they are changing much and TWS Blizzard Watches are now in place for select areas along with projected wave heights.

On Tuesday, the upper divergence will take hold, bringing heavier snowfall across the Appalachians into NC/VA and WV.  This is normal with this type of pattern.  The mountains will provide a rain-shadow for much of the populated zones of VA/DC/MD/PA … but some snowfall is going to fall.

The moderate zones is where the deformation band will develop later Tuesday.  This will develop from Northeast NC and Southeast VA northward into Southeast MD and the Southern half of DE, northeast to Southeast/Southern NJ.  This is where the heaviest snowfall will be likely as the storm ejects into the Atlantic for the first time in its life.  The heavy snowfall band will move across toward the Eastern Long Island zones through the evening and night … and then into the Eastern MA zones, including Nantucket and Cape Cod, where the TWS Blizzard Watch is in effect.  This area from Eastern Long Island, most of RI, and Eastern MA is under the high impact areas for snow + wind … so expect deteriorating conditions over the evening/night.

As the storm bombs out (rapidly deepens) Hurricane force winds surrounding it in the Atlantic Ocean will bring a wide wind field all the way to Eastern ME, most of New Brunswick, and into the Nova Scotia / Prince Edward Island region on Wednesday.  This is where another TWS Blizzard Watch has been issued.  This is where the Ultra High Impact areas will be.  If in this section, you are expected to see the most dangerous conditions.  You should have stocked up by now as this will not miss you.   You will be hit directly with the full brunt of this “winter hurricane”.
