Severe Weather Outbreak For Thursday Across Central to Eastern United States

(TheWeatherSpace.com) – Within parts of Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois … there will be an explosive environment on Thursday for severe thunderstorms, producing tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail.  A true severe weather outbreak is expected.

The line of storms will form across Western Missouri, stretching down through Eastern Oklahoma and Eastern Texas, east of the Dallas area.  So if you are in Dallas you likely will miss this event as the storms form east of you.  The storms will form discreet at first, but due to some projections of undirectional shear, do have to think that this would merge quickly with the cold front so the tornado window will be short at first for each storm, then more of a damaging wind event as the storms mature with the cold front.

The storms will make it through the evening across the center of this, including St. Louis, Missouri, Memphis, TN, and as far east toward later night to Nashville, TN, Northern MS, and Indianapolis, IN.
