Tropical Storm Warning Issued For Bermuda Island
Weather Alert Central.com – The WAC Tropical Storm Warning has been issued for Bermuda Island as a strengthening Hurricane Cristobal comes into the area Wednesday through Wednesday night.

Hurricane Cristobal is well south of Bermuda at this point, but according to WAC intensity and tracking models on our TROPICAL PAGE it will be close enough to the island on Wednesday for Tropical Storm Force Winds. Winds in excess of 40+ mph will be likely, with gusts as high as 50-60 mph being probable.
Cristobal will leave the area on Thursday, bringing calmer conditions to the area.
The hurricane is not expected to make a direct central impact on Bermuda, however 20 foot waves are to be expected from the system by the middle of this week.
