THE NATIONAL WEATHER FORCE HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WATCH EFFECTIVE FOR PARTS OF; ”

* Effective This Weekend

Two separate storm systems are expected to hit the region this Weekend, starting tomorrow (Saturday) and going through the entire weekend.  Two to three inches of rainfall is likely for most of the Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia forecast areas, with over 3+ inches expected in the foothills of the Coastal Range of Western OR to Western WA and through 4+ inches into the Cascade Mountains.

Upper elevations will see some snowfall in Washington for the Cascade Range, however not much if any is expected in the Oregon Cascade range, thus 4+ inches is expected in the “Extreme” Category areas on the warning map including in this forecast.

Very High – 3-4″
High – 2-3″
Notable – 1-2″
