Video Proof: NOAA Busts NYC Blizzard Forecast Bigtime; Wastes Resources!

A blizzard is hitting New England but that is not the real story here.  Everyone knew one was coming but it was the irresponsible forecasts of the National Weather Service that led the NYC Mayor having to go on T.V. and give an apocalyptic speech like something out of a movie. 

The very fact here at NationalWeatherForce.com this NYC Bust was predicted two days ago is extremely telling on the accuracy of this project and any naysayers that stated we like to hype situations can learn from this that we got it correct.  Let this article be SHARED so everyone so that everyone can see how a real forecast is made and materializes, without the hype.

When I paint your area in a extreme weather situation then it is time to listen up, share these articles over social media, and get that word out because this event has proven I do not hype forecasts, I am realistic in what I do.

While every single outlet was hyping the storm system, here at National Weather Force we decided to go to an extremely different route, shoving the system a bit east and sparing New York City. 

We were targeting areas east of there through parts of Eastern CT/RI/and/MS and even Southeastern New Hampshire and focusing on those areas up the Maine Coast rather than where everyone else was … New York City. 

Our models painted up to 10″+ of snow but no more than 15 for New York City by the time the snow was done flying out there.  Furthermore, this projection a whole days beforehand will go down in our books as one of the most successful forecasts ever done.

While others may call us fraud, hype, and every word in the book to discredit the work being done here, we did not hype the storm for New York City.  Our first call map was 10+” of snow with our risk map and I will put them all below in this article.

The morning of.  The morning of the expected NYC Apocalyptic Blizzard even traditional weather models we do not own started going in the direction of our models. 

  Yet it was ignored by everyone.  Weather forecasters did not want to change their forecasts and be wrong on a historic call.  This is dangerous and this is why I have called out the National Weather Service in the past and I will further call them out in the future. 

This isn’t a case of “Well it is better to be prepared”.  No, the public now does not trust for when the next historic blizzard call happens all because they couldn’t get this right.

Why is it a private site like National Weather Force.com can get the forecast correct yet National Weather Service cannot?  They should be no more than ashamed in themselves.

The blizzard however impacted our highest risk areas, well east of New York City.  Long Island got a good amount of snow as well, just as we predicted.  The focus on this entire forecast from us was East of New York City and also that the city would have a bust in that forecast call.

As of now there is about 7-8″ in Central Park and it’s still snowing a bit, with tapering showers over the day.  The number could be brought  to 10″, our forecast call for New York City two days ago.

Then this last image is Monday afternoon/evening to Tuesday’s projection after some has already fallen.  Keep in mind it did not cover what already fell in PA/NYC, it only does additional amounts from Monday evening onward
