Winter Storm Aims Northeast

A clipper is expected to bring snowfall and some areas with a glaze of ice come Wednesday into Wednesday night from IN/MI through the Mid-Atlantic, get a larger map along with the forecast by reading on.

A clipper starting across Michigan and ending in the Mid-Atlantic regions will bring a round of snowfall through the area on Wednesday.  The highest totals will be around the Southwestern PA to Eastern Ohio zones, with an additional lifting zone in the over-running front across Eastern MD, Central DE, and Southern NJ, where snowfall will finally fall in larger amounts for that area of New Jersey, thanks to a developing offshore surface low.

A dusting is expected for areas further north for New York and parts of Philadelphia.

Freezing rain will result on the southern end of the over-running front across Southern Ohio, Central WV, and the Roanoke, VA forecast zones.
