NBC News is reporting Meta stock plunges of 15% as company plans to invest heavily in artificial intelligence. So here is the odd thing about this. On TikTok ban day, you would think that Meta stock would skyrocket, yet it is tanking instead. I do not know what the estimated loss is but it appears massive.
Actually, let me see if I can pull up the um meta stock so you can actually see the massive trading drop off. Here, take a look at that. That’s a big dip from uh 493 down to 411. Is that like twenty percent in a day? is that what it is in after hours trading. Interesting, so we are going to see what happens when this opens on Monday. They’re not giving us the actual numbers but there were a lot of Congressional members who bought a bunch of meta stock right before they all voted to ban TikTok.
I see all these reports and it’s like here’s a list of members of Congress who bought stock in Meta just before voting to ban TikTok. It is a lot of people and it is a good amount of money and then when the ban happens Meta stock plunges and I’m just like I can’t even believe that’s allowed for them (Congress) to do that. To be able to buy the stocks using pre-knowledge using (insider trading). No wonder they are all millionaires. That is why they Congress are all super rich. That is why their salary is $174,000 a year but they half of them are millionaires or richer. They don’t for the most part care that it has not changed. Who is going to vote against it? Who is going to vote to ban what makes you rich?
