Surprising results in 2012 Poll

The definitive 2012 website www.mi5.co.za ( a South African venture that has attracted international attention) has been running a poll on predictions for 2012 for the past 18 months and the results are surprising.  Despite all the hype only 4.3 per cent of those taking part believe the world will come to a cataclysmic end, 3.8 per cent think we will have first contact with aliens and 0.5 per cent are sure we will be swallowed by a black hole.

Topping the poll with 33.2 per cent is ‘nothing will happen’ followed by 22.8 percent with a view that there will be a ‘consciousness shift for humankind’. But if this is added to the 15.2 per cent who expect ‘the beginning of a new era’ then a positive outlook for 2012 wins the day.

The website covers most mainstream predictions for 2012 from the Bible to Nostradamus.  It also tracks developments such as the increase in volume and intensity of volcanoes, tsumanis, floods and earthquakes and the possible effect on the planet and its peoples.

There are some radical solutions to high agenda topics such as the rebuilding of Japan and planning overseas holidays in the light of potential weather and other disasters.  The site is conducting a campaign to attract 1 000 000 visitors to the Cradle of Humankind in 2012 to bring together all the diverse opinions and with a view to a new start for humanity where it all began.
