Is Rammstein Predicting Destruction in American in 2012?
The “Tanz-Metal” German band Rammstein just released a music video which, at first, looks like an innocent spoof about The Beach Boys and Baywatch until we get to the end, where it takes a more sinister look. The video describes a beach party in California back in 1945 with girls and music, old fashioned bikini styles and subtle hints at sexuality. Towards the end we see a sign that states 2012 and the same group of females in a much darker tone. There are fights, drunken behavior, a lesbian encounter and even bare breasts are shown in the video. The band changes from the bright “beachy” clothes to their current “dark” look. All the men wear the “joker’s” smile and pale makeup. The singer has milky, clouded eyes and a sinister smile. Even the German flag is shown in the video.

I would like to agree with the second anonymous that it is “just another metal video” as this band is known for being controversial, however, why do they bother so much with America? They could just be stating what they see happening in America. This is not about the band but about the message in the video.
