That’s one huge jump from fact to supposition. Yes the Moon influences Earth and everything on it. But there is not a single scrap of evidence to suggest the other planets have any effect on Earth at all.

I read, on another website, that the Japanese earthquake was caused by a nuclear weapon in the subduction trench. Do the planets cause maniacs to plant nuclear weaons? Or other maniacs to think they have?

The Earths alignment or gravitaional pull has nothing to do with the full moon. If the moon is visable in the sky in any capacity during the night or day, it is all there. If it is a full moon it simply means that the Sun is reflecting off the entirity of the moon’s side that is facing us as observed during the night. Therefore any lunar affect, if it exists at all, from a full moon would be from the fact that the night-time is brighter due to the increased reflected light and has nothing at all to do with gravitational affects of the moon.
