Bride of Christ - Wedding feast 2012 - Are you prepared?

From the beginning of time, or rather even before time began… God chose 2 souls, one male, one female, He set them apart. Adam & Eve. There are many hidden references to this and some direct ones in the Bible; here are some I’ve chosen:

“I thank God for you—the God I serve with a clear conscience, just as my ancestors did. Night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers, I long to see you again, for I remember your tears as we parted. And I will be filled with joy when we are together again.

I remember your genuine faith, for you share the faith that first filled your grandmother Lois and your mother, Eunice. And I know that same faith continues strong in you. This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. And don’t be ashamed of me, either, even though I’m in prison for him. With the strength God gives you, be ready to suffer with me for the sake of the Good News. For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time…” 2 Timothy 1

 This is a letter on behalf of Jesus to His Bride, for her to read after He was gone.

He says: I remember your tears when we parted… referring to Mary Magdalene’s tears at the cross. And here: He did this not because we deserved it, but because this was His plan from BEFORE the beginning of time…

Adam is Jesus and Mary Magdalene is Eve…

Here’s a more direct reference:

Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever.
You rule with a sceptre of justice.
You love justice and hate evil.
Therefore God, your God, has anointed you,
 pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else.
Myrrh, aloes, and cassia perfume your robes.
 In ivory palaces the music of strings entertains you.
Kings’ daughters are among your noble women.
At your right side stands the queen,
 wearing jewellery of finest gold from Ophir!

Listen to me, O royal daughter; take to heart what I say.
Forget your people and your family far away.

For your royal husband delights in your beauty;
honour him, for he is your lord.

The princess of Tyre will shower you with gifts.
The wealthy will beg your favour.
The bride, a princess, looks glorious
 in her golden gown.
In her beautiful robes, she is led to the king,
accompanied by her bridesmaids.
What a joyful and enthusiastic procession
as they enter the king’s palace! (Psalms 45:2-15)

Let’s have a look at this line: “What a joyful and enthusiastic precession as they enter the King’s palace…”

God is referred to as King so many times in the Bible. And Jesus even talked of going to Heaven and preparing a place. He talked of “great mansions in my Father’s house”

King’s Palace is God’s Kingdom of Heaven. I talk about this in the ‘Second Coming Full Explained’ post. Christ comes to get His Bride and the rest of his Chosen ones, at the pre-tribulation rapture. The chosen ones also being the invited guests to the ‘Wedding Feast’, This is what Jesus meant when talking of the Wedding Banquet Parable. He said, “Kingdom of Heaven is like a King preparing a marriage for His Son…” The invite goes out to many, but not all take it seriously, so they are left behind. There’s another reference made to this being ‘left behind’, in the Parable of the ten bridesmaids with the lampshades. Yes, parables aren’t understood by all, but that was their whole purpose! Jesus said Himself. So the wicked wouldn’t understand. Roman Emperor Constantine who was a Pagan and seriously affected by false spirits and Satan, changed and altered the Bible somewhat. He is the one who moved Christmas from Sep to Dec (See post on Jesus’ real birthday) Jesus had foresight of this, so He spoke about very vital things which would need to be looked at in the future, through parables and codes within bible in the way of His two closest disciples John and Paul who wrote letters on behalf of Him to His Bride, masking it as letters to others. However in 2 John there’s a more direct reference to this Lady: “To the chosen lady, whom I love in truth, and so does every else who knows the truth. The truth lives in us forever…”

How interesting, “and so does everyone else who knows the truth” I was almost expecting a little winky face at the end of this! How truly amazing! The longest running, most epic love story of ALL time!

It was always God’s plan to keep Adam & Eve together in the heaven on earth ‘Garden of Eden’ they were supposed to have eternal life there together. (See my post on truth about Adam & Eve) But Satan came in and ruined it. Because he tempted Eve to sin and then Adam also sinned. Sin caused death which brought an end to their eternal life AKA tree of life.

This great love story began with Adam & Eve and it will end will Jesus and His Bride.

But remember; the invite to the wedding won’t be an obvious one! Make sure you have got enough oil for your lampshades, because the Bridegroom (Jesus) will come early!
