A short story about 2012

What we know about mayan, nostradamus ,predictions?

Nostradamus and 2012

You must know that frankly Nostradamus predicted a whole bunch of stuff.
Also, nothing of any significance ever happens without someone claiming that Nostradamus predicted it.
I just want to make that part very clear here in the beginning.

However, there is a very interesting prediction of Nostradamus that does seem
to give credence to the many people who combine his predictions with the 2012 date.

“After a great misery of mankind, an even greater approaches.
The great cycle of the centuries renewed, it will rain blood, milk, famine, war, disease.
In the sky will be seen a great fire dragging a trail of sparks.”

Before we go any farther, know this: this is the EXACT same prediction that was used before
Y2K to show that Nostradamus predicted the end of the world in 2000.
It seemed to make sense for them then too, but it did NOT happen.

So now this prediction (and many similar ones) has been attributed to the 2012 Mayan date.
The reason is because what could be a greater meaning for “great cycle of the centuries renewed”
than the ending of a 5,000 year old calendar? So, it seems to make some sense at least.

The Mayan 2012 Calendar
The fact that the Mayan long count calendar ends in December of 2012 is no secret.
This calendar spans over 5,000 years and its conclusion was of great importance to the Mayans.
The end of this calendar meant the end of the age! However, the Mayan calendar itself
does not indicate the end of the world, just the end of the age – with a new age  beginning on the following day.
There were even three previous ages. Granted, they all ended with some great event, but not the end of the world.

So, did the Mayans predict the end of the world in 2012?

No, but Dr. Michael Coe did study the ancient Mayan texts and it is his interpretation that there is a possibility
that Armageddon would occur at the completion of the Mayan long count calendar in 2012.

So, did Nostradamus predict the end of the world in 2012?
No, but some of his predictions may potentially be relevant… or not.

The Mayan calendar is also sometimes called the Aztec Calendar.
This calendar is recorded as a carving on the Aztec “Sun stone,”
currently on exhibit in the National Museum of Anthropology and
History located within Chapultepec Park, Mexico City.

AJPU  (lord, sun)

Ajpu signifies a spokesman, hunter, fletcher, wanderer.
Those born on this day were conceived on E.  It is the day of the wise, valiant, good-hearted, friendly.
They own property.  They may be widowed;  sometimes the spouse’s death is due to the children.

It is the day created by the ancestors to make a balance between the good and the evil;
their teachings show us that good will always triumph over evil.
People born on this day will be protected with personal power which, even if they themselves don’t recognize it,
will make them sources of new ideas for society.  Rituals done on this day are as powerful as the sun in banishing evil,
sickness, and resolving the calumnies of people alive and deceased  in a satisfactory manner.

Rich.  Wise.  Courageous, kind.  Deaths of the children.

Those born on Ajpu are very strong, they are hunters, since Ajpu (hero of the Popol Vuh legend) was a hunter
and he is the sun, which gives us life.  Warrior, fighter, lawyer.  A good spokesman or soldier.

A child born on Ajpu will have a close, perhaps unhealthy, relationship with the dead.
He or she may even become a medium for the voices of the dead.

The Person Born on this Day of AJPU was Conceived on the Day of E.
Meaning: Enmity, Hate and Revenge, Village, Spiritual Certainty, Security,
Eclipse, Mental and Psychological Winner of Many Prophetic Tests Nawal of the Flowers.
Nawal: EAGLE    Positive Influences: Capable, Romantic, Powerful, Brave, Heroic, Observant.
Negative Influences: Violent, Vengeful, Belligerent, Impulsive, Trickster.

Vulnerable, soft, easily imposed upon, other-worldly.

Famous people born on 4 Ajpu = Pierre Bonnard, Dr. Sam Sheppard, Dinah Shore,
Swami Sivananda, Rabindranath Tagore, James Taylor, John Greenleaf Whittier

4 Ajpu next occurs on  21/12/2012
IMOX  (water lily)

Imox signifies idiocy, craziness.  Those born on Imox were conceived on Aj.
Creation is the work of God and men:  God is a worker, and men are also workers.

Imox is the day when the forces of nature become dangerous.
It is the day of order as equilibrium to chaos.  People born on Imox have a lot of negative influences about them:
they are weak, aggressive, mentally unstable.  They should seek Ajqij (priest-healers) who know how to balance them.
Rituals are done on this day to help people with mental problems, to cure illness, and to pray to Mother Earth.

Libidinous sinner.  Dishonest.  The most wicked of men.  Indecisive, faithless.

Imox symbolizes the occult forces of the universe, manifested in dementia.
It’s a maleficent day, and those born on this day are foolish, crazy, or fighters.
Inconstant, unreliable.  Those born on this day should change their day because they’re completely worthless.

A child born on Imox will be weak, inefficient, undirected, even insane.
Although such a person cannot be effectively trained as a daykeeper,
he or she will be quite interested in witchcraft and may patronize
the traveling merchants who sell printed prayers to San Simon and other evil saints.

The Person Born on the Day of IMOSH was Conceived on the Day of AJ.
Meaning: Madness, Disorder, Idiocy, the Left Side, Envy, Cooperation,
Uncertainty, Nervousness, Suspicion, Secretiveness,.
Nawal: FISH    Positive Influences: Good Merchant, Hypnotist, Libidinous, Materialistic.
Negative Influences: Doubtful, Disoriented, Indecisive, Contradictive, Useless.

Friendly and pleasant outwardly, yet maintains distance and reserve (perfunctory).
A thinker or watcher rather than a doer.

Famous people born on 5 Imox = Walt Disney, Thomas Edison, Andre Gide,
Werner Heisenberg, David Hilbert

Its absurd to mention Nostradamus in the same breath as the Maya…it belittles the entire point of what the Maya were attempting to do…warn a future generation about a cycle that has wiped out many civilizations.

First off, the Maya never said the world was going to end, this is modern disinformation, brought about by the Christians misinterpretation of events that took place long before they were writing their bible. What the Maya did tell us, is that the world as we know it will come to an end. This was not some mystical prophecy, conjured up by some ancient seer, it was them telling us of events that took place in their time…and it was about events that would take place in a future date.
The Maya told us of a great celestial serpent that appeared in the sky like a bloody red sun and brought ruin to the planet. It rained fire down upon the planet, great quakes, it caused mountains to fall and new ones to rise in a single day and finally it made the ocean leave its cradle, as mountain high waves covered the land. The Maya also told us this sky serpent would one day return.
If the Maya were the only ancient culture to tell this story, we could easily write it off as myth. They, however, are not the only ancients to tell of a great serpent. The Egyptians, a culture separated from the Maya by an ocean, were one of the ancient civilizations that told a similar story. They told us of a red celestial dragon they called, the Destroyer. They told us the Destroyer rained fire and blood on the land, caused great quakes and made the ocean rise up and sweep across the land. They said that only those who were on high mountain tops were spared from the waves. Like the Maya, the Egyptians told us the Destroyer would one day return…Manuscripts 3:1 Men forgot the days of the Destroyer. Only the wise know where it went and that it will return in its appointed hour.
When the Egyptians wrote about the Destroyer, they were writing about an event they had seen first hand. As the generations passed, the Destroyer was forgotten, it became nothing more than legend. By the time the Christians got their hands on it…almost 1500 years later..the regular visits of the Destroyer had been wiped from the memory of the common man and its return was made into a prophetic warning from an angry god, by a people who only had some old stories to work with. Anyone who’s read the Egyptian Great Book (Kolbrin) will see that the events in the Christian’s Book of Revelation where based on the old Egyptian book.
Anyone interested in knowing what the ancients said should read the books of Immanuel Velikovsky. In the 1950′s, long before any of this Mayan end of the world nonsense came about, Velikovsky wrote a book, Worlds in Collision, in which he compiled the ancient accounts of the celestial intruder that brought ruin to the world. In his second book, Earth in Upheaval, Velikovsky used the fossil record and layers of earth to corroborate the ancient warnings.

I think its time we stop living in the dark ages and stop attributing everything we don’t understand to some mystical god and prophecy.

Nostradamus was not a real prophet, he had to use drugs to get his visions. He himself said he sees only the worst possible future. Besides, most futures predicted in the past are outdated. We are on a different timeline.
