"Ain't Nobody Got Time For That..."

Do you want the truth? Or something beautiful?

Don’t you just hate when someone takes your words or
thoughts, use them to their advantage, and later become rich and famous?  Let’s take Sweet Brown for example.  For years you’ve thought “Ain’t Nobody Got
Time For That”, yet she says it in a hair rag, no makeup whatsoever, with much
passion, and instantly becomes a household favorite.   She’s
on TV Commercials, now endorsed by major distributors, and receiving the perks
of a Trump.  Only if you would have branded
that slogan, you would be rich today.

Sadly to say, Sweet Brown was referencing her bronchitis,
yet you’ve used it as a crutch in your life… 
Let’s look at a few of your experiences

Weight:

So you’re wondering why you’re overweight (Well actually you
don’t, it just sounds good for you to say)??? 
Well, could it be…  You don’t want
to lose weight????  You never have time for
the gym, to cook a healthy meal, change your eating, pack your lunch, or get your
lazy butt (had to catch myself) off that couch and walk.  Yet you have time to watch every episode of Scandal,
wait at a restaurant 15 minutes to be seated to eat something you don’t need, text
back and forth with a friend WHO’S AT THE GYM, and stay in everybody’s
business.   The truth is…  You don’t want to lose weight. 
You don’t want to put the time in, change your thinking to change your
image, and you’re afraid people are going to think you look sick, so you hide
behind the food because it’s become your shield from the world…  Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That…

Work:

So you’re wondering why you were passed up for that job
(Well actually you don’t, it just sounds good for you to say)??? Well, could it
be…  You’re not qualified???  You never have time to sign up for internal
classes your job offers, to complete your degree, to speak with your boss about
a career path, or show you’re a leader. Yet you have time to meet with your
friends every Saturday for brunch, take extensive lunches, and your number one
time waster…   “They’re not giving me the job because I’m
Black” (Get over it, grow up, and get another job if you believe that…).  The truth is… you don’t want to put in the
work.  You believe because you have an MBA,
doors should open wide for you.  You
believe because you’ve been at the job 20 years your company owes it to
you.  You believe because you’re black
you’re not going to get the job anyways, so why try.  Ain’t Nobody Got Time ForThat…

Worship:

So you’re wondering why your church isn’t growing (Well
actually you don’t, it just sounds good for you to say)???  Well, could it be…  You’re not open to change???  You never have time to visit other churches
to see what’s working, to meet with your ministry leaders, to ask other Pastors
with Prosperous and Growing Ministry for advice; to pray, wait, and listen to
God when He speaks to you about the church. 
Yet you have time to watch Sunday Football, sit at the church all day
long sleeping on the couch in your Pastors Study, going to lunch with your Son
(yes “son” and not “sons”) In Ministry. 
The truth is… you don’t want to put your faith in action.  You believe because God gave you the vision
for the church, He’s going to pack it out. 
You believe Jesus didn’t change, why should your delivery change.  You believe because the churches around you
have 50 members and you have 269 members, you’re the bomb…  Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That…

The truth is…  Ain’t
nobody got time for your excuses, foolishness, cockiness, and laziness anymore…  If you want better, DO BETTER.  If you want to be better, DO BETTER.  If you want to look better, DO BETTER.  If you want to live better, DO BETTER.  The time has come for you to make a decision… Are you going to run? Walk? Or get left behind? 
Until you figure it out, “Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That”…
