SPIRITUAL LESSONS

Mankind is spirit, in a physical body.

His soul is easily crushed by his own efforts. ie. sin.

What is sin?

Sin is anything done contrary to the spirit of the Ten Commandments God gave Moses on Mt Sinai.

Contrary to the Talmud, Cabbala, or Koran, whichever decrees such, they are NOT merely for the Jews, with the Noahide laws, 7 in total, for the gentiles.

They are rather the universal law and upon which Western Common Law is based.

You cannot change laws which have their roots in the Moses Laws. These are the laws of life and cannot be changed, as they come from God, who is unchangeable; truth and justice is, only because God is.

The Ten commandments exist because Satan exists. 

If it were not for the presence of Satan’s influence in the world the Ten Commandments would not have to be written down. 

It is because we have fallen, which gives rise to blindness, as well as weakness and a tendency to evil, that they are given, to raise us back up, and when we are too weak to do so, we have ONE who is our strength and one who atones for our weakness and our sin, but only when we turn from sin ourselves or make every effort to do so without giving up.

 This ‘Saviour’ is of course Jesus. There is no other – and no other Name under the Heavens by which we may be lifted out of sin, and Whose sacrifice makes atonement for sin,  for those who know him intimately and those who have not heard of Him alike, as well as those who have heard of Him but do not seek Him out.

For all, the measure is whether we try to live good lives, and not lives devoted to selfishness and the seven deadly sins, which give rise to the state of affairs …. deadly to the soul, which without salvation and turning from sin, results in eternal suffering in hell -  instead of eternal happiness with God in Heaven.

Mankind has not changed in 6,000 years, and yet Jesus has deemed this time to be the time of the fulfillment of His great promise to mankind, when He will rid the earth of the satanic influence once and for all ….except for a brief time after the 1000 year reign of the just which will be granted to the earth. After that brief re encounter with the devil and his angels, those who are called, chosen and true ie the faithful remnant of mankind will live forever in eternal beatitude. It only depends on one thing. Our free will.

God cannot overwhelm us with His light, beatitude, holiness and life, his peace and joy, happiness and security….for that would remove our own free will. We are given only enough, that which is necessary to make that free choice.

The consequences of sin are so dire for the soul that a Saviour was necessary to redeem us. Again however, even in this, the operative condition is our own free will. That cannot and will not change in this life, until we surrender it to one of two places, sin or truth, hell or heaven, God or the devil.
