Tens of thousands of Zimbabwean farmers use cattles to till the fields

Tens of thousands of Zimbabwean farmers still use cattles for tilling the land so that they can grow crops for    subsistence and commercial purposes. This is despite advances in technology in this modern world.

Cattle drawn carts or wagon are common. This has undermined the integrity of our Agricultural development. This has also affected the cattle production.

Our Agriculture in Zimbabwe is capable of much development and massive production of grains and cereals. We can provide food to the whole Southern Africa.

Farmers need tractors for tilling the land and transport. They also need lorries for day to day farming business. In many areas they are tens of thousands of farms. They don’t have a single car or tractor. There is no bank to give loans to these farmers.

I want to be pro-active in supporting our farmers. These farms have been bought during the time of the Rhodesian government. They are now inherited by children. Grand parents who bought them are long gone. These farms are under utilised. Millions of jobs could be created in Zimbabwe if these farms get into full production.

I want to be a serious farmer in Zimbabwe growing cereals, rearing chickens and piggery. I have studied Agriculture and I have experience in farming.

I need support of brothers and sisters in South Africa, UK, USA and elsewhere.

I need a tractor, implements and inputs. Therefore I appeal to our brothers and sisters to support me in Agricultural revolution in Zimbabwe. I know once I start banks in Zimbabwe will take me serious and start to give me funds.
