Planning Scenario #1---Nuclear Detonation Of 2 Improvised Nuclear Devices.

The heading from today’s post is taken straight from the overview of the National Level Exercises, or NLE for this 2010 year. These drills were and currently are being implemented beginning in May 2010 and concluding this July.
According to the FEMA overview the drills were targeted for FEMA Region VIII and Region IX. These regions encompass several states, but the actual drills were held in L.A. and Washington D.C.or the National Capitol Region, as it is known according to FEMA, with little or no main stream media coverage. I wonder why???
The FEMA campaign of events highlighted the following points:
-Planning structure and working groups
-Capabilities and National focus areas
-Development of objectives and scenarios.
After the initial exercises which were conducted back in mid May, on June 17, 2010, they followed up conducting the evaluation and after action process.
This was basically to be focused on the hypothetical nuclear incident response and recovery capabilities.
The scenario according to the agency’s planning was on how to deal with a two NO-Notice near simultaneous Improvised Nuclear Device, in other words, exactly what Mr. Clinton referred to yesterday. I wonder why???
