Bridgewater Triangle Overview

For those who have never heard of Southeastern Massachusetts’ The Bridgewater Triangle, find a map of Massachusetts. Now locate the towns of Rehoboth, Freetown, and Abington. Connect those towns with lines and there you have a 200-square mile radius where unexplained activity has occurred since as early as 1760, with the first documented UFO sighting in America, perhaps the world, being recorded.

Bigfoot, Thunderbirds, Native American spirits, UFOs, spook lights, and an unusually high murder and suicide rate have all been reported from Massachusetts’ most famous paranormal hotspot. For years, reports of paranormal activity from the town inside and just outside have flooded the inboxes of such paranormal investigators as Christopher Balzano and Christopher Pittman, two renowned Bridgewater Triangle investigators.

The discovery of The Bridgewater Triangle is attributed to leading American Cryptozoologist Loren Coleman, who coined the phrase in the 1970s in his correspondences in researching the area. In 1980, Boston Magazine published the first of many articles about the triangle written by Coleman himself. Taunton and Rehoboth were featured prominently in the article.

This blog is written based on the theory of the “Native American Paranormal Connection,” founded upon the fact that these haunted towns in Southern New England all have one thing in common: they were all bare scars of America’s shameful secret, King Philip’s War. (See post expanding upon this.) If there is an area where a consistent stream of paranormal reports comes out of, you can be sure that town was involved in the war.

In my blog, you will find that I will frequently cross over the boundaries of the triangle and explore the Narragansett area of Rhode Island as well as the other towns just outside of the dilineated map. The reason for this is simple. To me, there is no way to discuss the weird occurances within the triangle without discussing the war. The two subjects are integral and have to be treated as one subject. It is my intention to journal my adventures in the triangle as well as share what I learn in my research on my blog.

(Sidenote) As I was writing this I heard the rumblings of helicoptors. I ran to the window and saw two black helicoptors flying low toward the Bridgewater area. I have seen them before flying over my house in Hanson, but not for a long time. In the last week, many Hanson residents have questioned why there are so many helicoptors lately (especially at night.) Could things be heating up in the triangle?
