DEA delays a final rule on Synthetic Cannibinoids

What is the reason behind DEA’s failure to move ahead with the filed intention to ban K2 and similar substances, and why is it not being reported by practically anyone? A 100-million dollar a year industry shuts down over night because of a law that has not been imposed yet? This country really has become pussified! Yes the possibility exists that it is harmful and yes it should be regulated to keep it out of the hands of minors. I’m not advocating the product in any way. I’m just drawing attention to the fact that a date was set and retailers were told across the country to stop selling a product that is only RUMORED to be harmful or dangerous with no scientific evidence, deaths, accidents or otherwise to back it up. Only a handful of articles mentioning people hospitalizing themselves because of rapid heartbeats and minor injuries with no blood toxicology tests to know if there were other substances or circumstances involved!  Where is our scientific evidence? Where are the short-term studies? Where are our testicles? I guess we have come to tthe point in this country where we need none of these because our caring and loving government knows what’s best for us. (insert diety here) help us all!
