Organisations in Egypt have declared a two-day general strike with protests in Cairo and other major cities.

The Rassd News Network has posted that there is going to be a two day general strike on Wednesday the 26th and Thursday the 27th of January.

“…Front Youth for Egypt | invite all youth to take to the street and join the demonstrators and to participate in the general strike on Wednesday and Thursday…”

As you can see, the strikes and protests are being organised and called for by “Front Youth for Egypt” (Youth Front for Egypt?), one of several groups leading the uprising against the current Egyptian dictatorship.
