Terrorists "Attack" Statue of Liberty ... online

Anti-Muslim extremism has emerged as a leading force in a growing and ever more alarmist campaign against the supposed threat of an Islamic takeover at home and global jihad abroad, echoing the bitter dispute over last year plans of NY City to build an Islamic center near the site of the World Trade Center, brought down by al-Qaida.

Now another wave of right winged extremism is rising with the recent publications of some so called “patriots” in the United States, alarming that Muslims are trying to destroy the Statue of Liberty, since their believes, according to the publication, do not allow idolatry and supremacy of the American constitution and freedoms over God.

The absurd statements were made on a website that redirects its audience to a threatening Muslim website called “Shariah for America”, which appeared a week before the publication issued today and looks like its content have been put together for that very purpose.
