Do dogs have telepathic abilities?

Do dogs have some sort of telepathic abilities? All dog lovers want to know this. How did dogs learn to beg for food? How can they understand our feelings? How do they get violent when we do not take care of them? Seeing that dogs can understand contexts, common sense dictates that they might have some (telepathic) ability to learn human behavior. They respond to how attentive we are about them.

A research conducted by a team led by Monique Udell from the University of Florida found some interesting facts about dogs. They conducted experiments on pet dogs, shelter dogs and wolves. As part of the research, they were fed by complete strangers and attentive (caring) people to compare the performance of wolves and domestic dogs. The results were interesting.

The findings show that dogs use a combination of specific cues, context and previous experience to understand how to read human mind. Both the wolves and domestic dogs were capable of begging for food and successfully warming up to the attentive human being. This proved that dogs can understand human mind. Also, both wolves and pet dogs were able to improve their performance with practice.

This proved the fact that dogs, both pets and wild ones, are capable of telepathic abilities (understanding human mind). Of course, the pet dogs are more likely to understand us. We should feel more affectionate towards dogs now. They can understand human behavior and respond to a ‘caring’ person.
