Interior decoration; the symbol of what?

Hi,

What is it that we see around us? The best way to look uptight and powerful and stylish is to just get a couple of cool, costly glasses and some good luxurious interior decoration for your house. You’d be surprised to know how many people are willing to trust the looks of a house rather than who lives in it. I do not love such stuff. A nice scenery is my primary target when choosing where to live. Be it hostels or a house, I love to see some natural beauty around it. Not artificially created gardens, just some trees and flowers will do fine for me.

I feel that I am in some sort of a museum or morgue when I visit one of those fancy houses. Those people, how do they live in it? There are so many things that you can do to make your life easier. But installing an air conditioner or refrigerator won’t do the job, they will only facilitate life. Besides, I believe that a simple house is always easy to clean up and requires less electricity and water. Fountains and electric gizmos do nothing but draining our resources and getting us one step closer to losing our natural resources. The policy of “buying everything, everywhere” is definitely not what we love to see in our home. A nice pot filled with beautiful flowers can be more effective than that of a useless ‘pretty’ doll.

What’s the use of these decorations if you cannot find the time to cherish it? How much money do you waste on these stuff? Is it worth it? I definitely do not give any credit to those people. You cannot hide who you are by buying costly stuff.
