Are You Awake? Do You Know?

Authors Note: I was on Facebook today while writing this article when I came across a post my sister-in-law had made. “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain! Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.” Melanie Shirley.  I felt that I needed to include this quote because in a sense this is how we must look at the events in the past, to determine our course in the future. She was not speaking directly to the subject matter in this article, but I felt it relivant. We CAN NOT wait out the storm. We must wade into it, and do something about it! We must WAKE UP from the storm that has scared us for so long, and begin to question, so there is HOPE, for tomorrow.

When I look at America today, I do so with a new set of eyes. I view my country now with eyes that are unpolluted by the poisons I use to place in my body. My eyes are more open today, than at any other time in my entire life.

                Each day that I awaken now, I do so with a new sense of joy and purpose. I greet each new day with a true hope and longing for the time when I will truly be free.  I awaken with the knowledge that I will one day be free to live exactly how I chose in the land of my forefathers.  I awake and rise to the challenge to restore my country to the point where my Government begins to fear me and not I fearing my Government.

                Since I awoke from my long slumber I have found a new and profound respect for the founding fathers of our great nation.  As a young man deep in the throes of addiction I cared not for the founders or what they did to ensure I could live as a free and independent spirit.  I cared not to know how or why I was free, only that I had the illusion of freedom.

                During my years asleep, I was consumed by the mass media entertainment machine. I cared not for any new laws that were passed, I was too busy watching T.V and wondering what the latest fad or gadget there was to distract me.  I had no respect for any of the laws of the land anyway, so why would I care what laws they passed or how my Government actually worked? As long as I felt good and could pretty much do whatever I wanted, I was happy in my illusions of freedom.

                I wasted many years of my early life through some of the most stupid decisions a person could make.  In my addiction to cocaine I lost over four years of my freedom. Due to my struggle with cocaine I almost lost my entire family.

                Since my decision with the help of my wife and children to abstain from cocaine use, my eyes cleared. Soon after the haze of drug addiction was lifted from my life, I began to question.

                One day some three years ago I was on the internet just looking around when I came across a video I had never seen before. I viewed for the very first time in my life the collapse of Bldg 7 in New York City on September 11^th, 2001, and as I watched the building sink perfectly to the ground, my heart and soul sank with it. Seeing Building 7 fall literally knocked the wind out of me.

                Since that fatefull day three years ago my life has taken on a new purpose and meaning.  In these last three years I have watched countless hours of video footage and have read more text than in most of my adult life. I have made myself into a student of not only physics and building design, but of aviation and our Government as well. I have opened my mind to new ideals and possibilities, not just those given to me by the ones who claim to be experts.  In the last three years I have been exposed to the crimes of my Government and the Tyranny that it has brought to our lands.

                Once I came to the realization that members of our Government and military are possibly behind the 9/11 terror attacks, I knew that I would never be the same person I was. I was now looking at my Government as well as the world with a new perspective.

                I can now see what my Government is through clear eyes and a sense of focus. I can see the lies that have become our Government because I became a student of our founders and of American History. I am able to see the lies and outright crimes by our leaders because I am now a student of the Political system. I have also been able to see the things wrong with our country because I have become a student of truth and its pursuit, no matter what the cost!

                Our Forefathers were wiser men than any that walk the halls of what passes for Government today, save very few. Out founders gave us The Constitution, The Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence as guides to how men can live free and govern themselves. These great documents were penned with the intention of allowing the people of the United States of America to live free of Tyranny and all that Tyranny brings!

                Our current and not so distant leaders gave us The Patriot Act, Homeland Security, and the TSA to ensure that we would sacrifice those very things our founders gave us, in the name of security.

                I have learned with my new eyes that our leaders today have twisted the ideals and words of our forefathers into the sick form of Tyrannical Government that exists in our nation today.  I continue to be a student of the founders for that very reason.

                I am now awake; I can see what is before me in plain sight. I can see the lies and the massive amount of propaganda spewed forth by commentators on what passes for nightly news these days, no matter what channel or station you watch from the mainstream media!

                I have learned with my new eyes that if I want the truth, I must find it for myself and not let the puppet masters at ABC, CBS, FOX, CNN, MSNBC and all the other mainstream media outlets give me their version of truth. I have learned with my open eyes that if I am ever to make truly good decisions and form solid opinions, that I must research the facts myself, instead of letting someone else give me their facts and form my opinion for me.

                With my new eyes I have realized what a waste my life was up until the point where I finally opened my eyes and put aside personal addictions and personal demons.

                Now I have my wife, children, and I will have my freedom even if it means giving my life in the pursuit of that freedom. Now that I am awake, I would gladly lay down my life in the defense of not only my freedom, but mine and your children’s freedom as well.

                Now that I have awakened, I have a reason to love my liberty and fight for my freedom.  Now that my eyes are clear and I can see my freedoms and liberties being attacked by my own elected officials, I will fight them to the very last breath in the hopes that mine and your children will not live as wards of the state, but as heads of the state!

                I am AWAKE!
