April 10, 2008, unable to alter or remove the natural born citizen requirement to clear the way for Barack Obama, the U.S. Senate acts to shift focus before the election, introducing and passingS.R.511 States that John Sidney McCain, III, is a “natural born Citizen’’ under Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution of the United States. S.R511 passed by a 99-0 unanimous consent of the Senate, with only John McCain not voting. The basis was – “Whereas John Sidney McCain, III, was born to American CITIZENS;” EMPHISIS on CITIZENS , PLURAL! BOTH PARENTS! Guess who co-sponsored this? BARACK OBAMA!!!

[VT]; Sen Webb, Jim [VA]; Sen Coburn, Tom [OK] (They had made certain that John McCain would run against Barack Obama)
“natural born Citizen” which prevailed at the time of the founding and writing of our Constitution in 1787, a definition we can find in Emer de Vattel’s The Law of Nations, Sec. 212 (London 1797) (1st ed. Neuchatel 1758). Vattel and The Law of Nations were a political philosopher upon whom and treatise upon which the Founders and Framers heavily relied in the early years of our Republic. This definition, which was incorporated into our American common law is a child born in the country to citizen parents which means a child born in the United States or its jurisdictional equivalent to a father and mother both of whom are either “natural born Citizens” or “citizens of the United States.”

At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also.
