Crossing The Invisable Line Of Justifiable Homicide.

People are saying that Joseph Kony is already dead.  But is killing someone ever justifiable?  Many authoritative occupations from the local police and law enforcement officers to the armed forces and everything in between will authorize all sorts of individuals to use weapons to kill people and will justify them for their actions almost automatically.

But what if an average person or a father or mother catches a predator in the act of raping their own preteen child?  Would they be justified in killing the rapist?  Or what if an average person finds themselves in the company of a known war monger, mass murderer, child molester, serial killer, war crime criminals, hate crime criminals; or a public enemy number one like Joseph Kony?

Where can the average citizen cross the line at and kill an evil killer with complete and total immunity?  Who has the ultimate authority over the boundaries?  How can a person obtain a passport to cross these borders?

Native Americans had no concepts in their languages for what they called the pale skinned mans “Invisable Lines” when the conquering foreigners began to draw the imaginary lines and divide their lands leaving the Natives with the smallest fractions.

“Manifest Destiny” was the Holier then thou justification of the “Pioneers” given to the Native “Savages” and “Heathens”.

We all draw our own lines in the sands of time dividing the “have’s from the have not’s” and dictate our own rules and warnings to the people on either side.

The Mason Dixon line, dividing the North and the South during the American Civil War, caused blood brothers and families on opposite sides of the line to kill each other for the cause of abolishing slavery and the effects of finical economic power.  Just like the Cripz and the Bloodz street gangs.

“Lines and Shadows” is a Master piece that was written by Joseph Wambaugh about the US Mexican drug war borderline.  Wambaugh joined the US Marines at the age of 17, spent 14 years as a police officer moving up through the ranks to Detective Sergeant, retired and became a New York Times best selling author of non-fiction crime.  He tells a terrifying and impossible but true story about the invisible borders of the Drug War and everyday life in Lines and Shadows.

The general consensus is, that It would be righteous for anyone to kill someone who was about to kill an innocent and defenseless child.  It also appears to be the opinion of many Judges, police, parents and even average everyday people?

Our world history and world religions teach us all blatantly that ‘war is wrong’, ‘two wrongs do not make a right’ and ‘vengeance is mine say the Lord’ so ‘when someone strikes you, turn the other cheek’.  Needless to say, historically and religiously all the wars and so called “Holy Wars” serve to prove the fact that the world has not learned anything from its histories and religions and will continue to fail all the lessons taught.

Unless there is a paradigm shifting event that changes everyone and spiritually evolves us all over night, hopefully this year in 2012, just in case, two wrongs really don’t make a right?
