Netanyahu: No concessions for Iran ~ link ~ There is a loud chorus of conflicting indicators on war/peace in the Middle East. I have to say, however, that the bottom line seems to be clearly war. As the war against Syria continues to expand in tempo in Syria and now there is a violent attempt to engulf Lebanon in another civil war, that clearly indicates events are being manipulated to bring about a massive regional General Middle East War. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday said that “Iran wants to destroy Israel and is developing nuclear weapons to that end.”
Speaking at a Civil Service Commission ceremony, Netanyahu noted that “Iran is threatening Israel and the whole world,” and urged the international community to “remain firm and not make any concessions.”

Defense Minister Ehud Barak says Israel would accept an Iranian reduction in nuclear enrichment to 3.5 percent in accordance with a proposal by the P5+1. Israel’s official position is that Iran must halt all enrichment, but most analysts say it doesn’t represent a viable negotiating stance.
Barak and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu are the key Israeli officials pushing for military action against Iran, and Barak’s statements are believed to represent some flexibility on Netanyahu’s part.
