I am Melissa Seaver,a Native Farm Woman from Indiana.
My lineage goes back to "Pocahontas" & George Mason IV, who is
the father of the Bill of Rights. I come from a long line of activists 
and I will not lie down and let thieves steal my land, tarnish my legacy, 
and deny my constitutional and human rights.

Mr President, I am here in Washington DC to DEMAND that you and Congress Clean up the USDA. 
I want you to hold the criminals and outlaws in USDA accountable.  I want you to stop them from 
stealing our land, land that has been in my husband's family for generations. Land that we have
worked, land that is our heritage and land that we own, and nourished with our sweat and tears.

I want you, Mr. President and Congress to boot the outlaws out of
USDA.

When my farm was taken from me, federal agents came to my home and treated me like a criminal.
They grabbed me in my nightclothes, ripped my shirt, yanked my hands above my head, 
dragged me out of my house in the dead of winter in 14 degree weather.

They treated me like a criminal. They grabbed my 3 1/2 year old grandson. They put guns to his head,
bruised his body with their rough treatment.

Due to their violence on my grandson, doctors say he suffers from STRESS REGRESSION DISORDER,
a form of PTSD.

They stole my land
they stole my grandson's mind
They stole money from us

Mr. President
Make this right
Mr. President
stop USDA's land theft
Mr. President
get rid of the criminals in USDA
