Bjork serenades Denmark in giant worm dress

Before there was Lady Gaga sporting here cigarette sunglasses and Katy Perry’s firework bra, There was Björk. Björk decide to show the world who she is on March 25, 2001. There she shocked the world by wearing a swan dress to the 73^rd Academy Awards. Later on at the 2001 Emmy Awards Ellen DeGeneres decide to find a swan dress of her own.

But this time the crazy Icelandic Björk took it another step farther with her worm dress…Yes that is right a worm dress. Björk now 46 years old directed the headliner spot at Denmark’s Roskilde Festival this past weekend, developing onstage encased in a tangle of giant, black, worm-like tubing. A rainbow bird’s nest of a wig was perched atop her spritely features, now showing some age.

The dress was the creation of Dutch avant-garde fashion designer Iris van Herpen.
