PRIEST CLAIMS TO FIGHT EVIL SPIRITS “Real Exorcism”

A BISHOP says he exorcised three demons who possessed a woman and made her speak in male voices.

The Rt Rev Dominic Walker drove out the evil spirits in a rite straight out of legendary horror movie The Exorcist.

The clergyman, who claims to have carried out six similar ceremonies during his 35-year career, is adamant the woman did not have a personality disorder.

Bishop Walker, who is one of just a handful of UK Anglican clergy allowed to conduct exorcisms, reckons a growing number of families are begging priests to drive evil spirits from their homes.

“When people turn to us for help, they’re fairly desperate,” he said.

“Most priests will go through the whole of their ministry without ever carrying out a full exorcism.

“But we all get people saying: ‘We’ve got a ghost, we’ve got poltergeist activity, a presence in my house.’

“People get very disturbed by it.”

Mr Walker, who is the Bishop of Monmouth in south Wales, added: “Occasionally you do get situations which you just can’t explain where people have not responded to psychotherapy or drugs.

“They’ve changed in personality and something appears to have taken them over.

“But when you say the prayers of deliverance, they make an instant recovery.’’
