Every two years we get the opportunity to elect a brand new House of Representatives (Federal and States) that actually represent us.
It won’t happen now in the 2012 cycle because the choices made during the primaries earlier this year have put forward the same false choice between a corporate supported, war mongering Democrat and a corporate supported, war mongering Republican (Ditto for the Presidency) and more importantly the people of this country don’t realize that the possibility to have a Constitutional Convention called could have been a reality in less than 6 months if only they had made better choices…….or any choice at all.
Calling for revolution, either by pen or by sword, is the wrong approach……and one that is sure to have blow-back in one form or another. Calling for people to vote in the primaries and in their respective elections supporting people that want to fundamentally change how government works with a Constitutional Convention to back it up is.
Many of the corrupt politicians lost in the last elections, the vote counting was rigged, they are still inpower, and that is not about to change. And besides dictator Obama is not going anywhere, read my blog to find out why!

@anonymous…I’ll tel ya what…since your suggested method of changing things by voting has never worked, and in fact is the direct reason why we’re in this mess, I will try mine. Revolution is exactly how we were founded

Voting in this country has worked in the past (are you prepared to say in the history of the US, elections have never worked?), but I will concede that Revolution will also bring about change as long as people are willing to accept the costs.
It is this point specifically that I believe you and your countryman-in-arms will fail in. A first attempt of an insurrection will be violently quashed, and we’ll have less freedoms because of it making a political solution impossible. As the ensuing second and third attempts unfold as a direct result of the death of all involved in the first, many will die and a generation or two of lives will be destroyed in the societal collapse that accompanies the revolt……a pretty high cost for something that has peaceful solution still at this point.
I admire that you have the desire to destroy your life, your children’s lives, and your grand-children’s lives for a cause you believe in, but I have to disagree with your methods. Educating people on what the monetary problems are in this country that infect every other aspect of society and how to remedy it just seems like a better idea.
I appreciate your optimism but the elections are rigged and the choices have all been selected. The only chance we had was Ron Paul, but the masses slumber on.
Hey Pete, remember our Founders struggled for years and years and years, they protested- they went to jail- they went to the courts- then when EVERYTHING was exhausted- then and ONLY then did our Founding Fathers resort to arms. Many, many patriots lost everything and the price was exceedingly expensive and of great cost.
Exhaust ALL avenues of having our grievances addressed by our government before they are forcibly removed. This will be the only acceptable solution to our present dilemma.

Both of you are right….and both of you are wrong. The voting system in this country has been corrupted beyond what the founding fathers could have imagined. It is a bought and paid-for system of power going to the highest bidder. A full and complete removal of all money interests would have to occur for the system to be brought back to right. That’s not likely going to happen until major changes are put in place.
On the other hand, a revolution would also not work at this date and time. If the 1st American Revolution was fought in England, it would have failed miserably and those involved with the rebellion would have met violent and unpleasant deaths. Only because we were far separated from the King and his influence and with help by other’s that hated the British, was the colonialist effort rewarded in the end. It was far to difficult for the British to be successful with such costly logistics and with such new tactics and hostile environment that was then America. A revolution within this country would take a terrible toll on US citizens. It would be much like the Civil War but fought with much more efficient weaponry.
No, either path is unacceptable. This era calls for a different tactic that combines the two but will be difficult without talented and passionate leadership. There are too many people that are stuck in the status quo that will resist any attempts for change. It will require a teacher more than a general…one who informs the citizens of truth as things start to unwind for the PTB. And they will unwind since the current system is starting to fall apart. Movements occurring with law enforcement and the military as well as the alphabet soup of government agencies suggest nothing less than a break down. Civil disobedience will be the best tactic for the short term. For the long term? I am not sure as all things will be dynamic. That will require true leadership.
But what if they come after you/us first?

We HAVE exhausted all of our remedies with the multi-millionaire politicians put before us who ultimately get in office, break promises, and feed the banksters. If we are not willing to fight for our freedom, we will die as slaves. To the person who finds that appalling they are assumably very content with their slavery; obviously in another country than the USA. Thanks for your advice, but we either demand a peaceful restoration of our Constitution and “Rule Of Law”, or we site here and wait for their nuke to explode in our face…..ultimately; waiting for the collapse is going to produce a more horrifying result.
