Congress approval rating around 10% around August 2012

Gallup: “PRINCETON, NJ — Ten percent of Americans in August approve of the job Congress is doing, tying last February’s reading as the lowest in Gallup’s 38-year history of this measure. Eighty-three percent disapprove of the way Congress is doing its job.”

According to the Gallup poll, the U.S. Congress has a 10% approval rating since August 2012. They’re approval rating has dropped ever since the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal year 2012 and 2013 into law, the Congress heavily backing CISPA, PIPA, SOPA, and other fascist laws that protect the corporations but harm the hard working and small business and even non-profit working individuals. Congresspeople can even justify their blatant violations of their ‘Oath of Office and the Constitution by claiming it is to stop terrorism but once the rule of law is destroyed, then anybody can be murdered, anybody can be raped and tortured, and the real terrorists will one day become the government if it had not been the case already.

The Congress knew that the NDAA had Unconstitutional provisions when it got on the news that a New York Federal Court ruled that plaintiffs arguments against Barack Obama that section 1021 of the NDAA 2012 law is Unconstitutional so the temporary injunction request was granted. Then in North Carolina NC Representative Glen Bradley introduced the bill House Resolution 982 in the state legislature codifying into permanent resolution records that just one section of the NDAA (s.1021) is in violation of a portion of both the U.S. Constitution and the North Carolina Constitution. When USWGO filed a petition with State Senator Phil Berger and gave him documents proving that it is null and void so it should not be enforced in the state of North Carolina by citing case law (Marbury v. Madison (1903)) and Constitutional amendments. Of course in June, Sen. Berger’s office threw out the petition using his Constituent Liaison as a shield claiming that the phone call was private and cannot legally be recorded in a one party state then made two excuses. The excuses were that unless there were twin bills in the senate (in regards to H.R. 982 by Glen Bradley) that taking any action would be premature then said that I the petition filer should contact a Federal Congressperson, when all they do is send a automated formal letter for every response on record. I was also told that even though it’s good to have a Federal Government there can be some problems or something to that regard, all that from Berger’s office, the man that is a conservative and has sworn an Oath to support, maintain, and even defend the state Constitution and even support the Constitution of the United States and federal law but if a federal law or certain statutes are repugnant to the Constitution then it is void and should not be enforced. Regardless of how Phil Berger treated the situation, enough proof has got on government records that Section 1021 of the NDAA 2012 is Unconstitutional and yet the House of Representatives reauthorized the bill.

For those that don’t know what the more recent NDAA law does, the NDAA 2012 law can allow the U.S. Military with help of state and local law enforcement to detain any American citizen and lawful resident without a warrant, without a court trial and can also be tortured and raped until the person admits guilt to the military tribunal. A military tribunal is the military’s own version of a judicial branch court but is not sanctioned as a Article III U.S. Constitution court. Any American can be labeled an enemy combatant and sent to Guantanamo Bay Cuba US Military facility. The NDAA can also apply to journalists with foreign correspondences and access to whistleblowers with information that could hurt the credibility and trust in the Federal Government. Already the DHS is openly spying on alternative media websites as their enemy and that was revealed via a FOIA Request.

The fact that Congress has literally ignored and introduced and even supported bills to laws against the Constitution is good enough reason for them to have a very very low approval rating. Approval ratings are earned by trust, following the Oath and rule of law, and by truly representing their constituents. When Congress violates their Oath of Office then they have lost the trust of the people because if they can breach their Solemn Oath then they can do anything with the power and authority they got. When a politician is caught lying to the public then it is also a breach of trust. When you see multiple incidents much like NC Senator Phil Berger betray his constituents and refuse to take any action when there is legal remedy or resolution to the situation, he has proven he is untrustworthy and should be kicked out of office and not allowed back in.

So the Congress has a terrible approval rating because many have likely done any of the following:

1. Betrayed Constituents
2. Caught lying to the public
3. Caught taking bribes
4. Pass laws that they know are damaging their Constituents and General Public
5. Pass laws to protect and exempt their buddies and special interests but hurt the public.
6. Pass Unconstitutional laws
7. Knowingly violated Oath of Office
8. Knowingly passing multiple laws repugnant to the Constitution creating more burdens on the legal system to remedy the Unconstitutional laws and sections of the statutes.
9. Trying to pass Anti-gun legislation when the 2nd Amendment guarantees the right to bear arms, it doesn’t say a privilege but a right to bear arms.
10. hundreds of other reasons why the Congressional approval rating is at an all time low.

So the Congress has proven to have an all time low due to the support for CISPA, SOPA, PIPA, NDAA 2012 & 2013, betraying Constituents, and a whole bunch of other reasons that would just take too many words and turn this simple article into a e-book and be too much for people to read so this article will just cove the basics of why the Congress has terrible approval rating.
