Could be a simple explanation. Armored units from all over the county train at Fort Irwin National Training Center. No not hundreds of tanks. Hundreds of M1,M2, or M3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles. Not a tank by a long shot. Google M1a1 or M1a2 to see what a tank looks like. These are used for scouts and infantry and have minimal armor. Equiped with a primary weapon consisting of a 25mm main gun, a coaxially mounted 7.62mm chain gun, and a TOW II missile system. Child’s play in the armor world.
