Listener Shares Where The 174,000 Hollow Point Ammo Rounds That The The Social Security Administration Has Purchased Are Going -Seattle's Downtown Federal Building.

Not certain whether this will be of interest to you but I will be
of Social Security recipient age soon and wanted to obtain information (in
person) regarding collecting my potential benefits. I reside in Seattle
so, I went online to determine the closest Social Security office. I had
already been told by a neighbor that the office in my neighborhood had
closed. I found an alternate office listed and went all of the way over
there, only to find it shuttered and closed with a notice on the door
directing people (including disabled veterans) to go to the downtown
Seattle office (i.e., the Federal building). I learned later that all of
the peripheral SSA offices in the city have been closed down (just within
the last couple of months). So now, EVERYONE has to go through the metal
detector and imaging machine as well as present a valid driver’s
license/ID. I find it interesting that all of the neighborhood offices
have closed down in light of the reports that SSA has purchased 174,000
rounds of hollow point bullets intended for 10 US cities, one of which is
Seattle. It was so strange to be treated like some airline passenger in
order to simply obtain information. I don’t like giving out my e-mail
address to the government entities but I guess that going online is
preferable to dealing with armed guards wearing bullet-proof vests. One
additional note: The City of Seattle evidently is flush enough to pay for
assorted inane projects as well as to hire additional police officers (in
spite of the recent lawsuit the SPD had lodged against them by the Justice
Dept) and although I realize this is Federal government, given the recent
open-ended $40b/month QE3, I do not believe that this consolidation was an
economy move. Just wanted to confirm that those hollow-point bullets
earmarked for Seattle are going to be sent to a single location (the
downtown Federal building) here.

Sounds like they about to make a major change in SS benefits, i.e. eliminate many of them. If you’ve paid in for 40 years, you are not going to get what you thought you were promised. Anyone with the math skills of a sixth grader figured this out 30 years ago….it was a Ponzi scheme and there was never going to be enough money to make good on this. Your money is gone.
Don’t they have a direct deposit after the paper work ball gets rolling? But of course they may rather give you a 168 grain, boat tail hollow point: cost about $1:50 vs. paying SSI or listening to anyone complain or protest about not getting paid.
As if to me Seattle isn’t already ugly enough with its goof-ball political views and police, it’s gonna get uglier, move! Think smaller, cheaper, down to the trailer park level if you must; just buy a damn secure trailer and stock it accordingly but do your research to where and get the hell out of that city; it will be a shooting gallery in there and a round up ship-off point to your new FEMA residence.
Do most AWAKE people really believe that the SHTF and imprisonment for Americans will REALLY occur? Aren’t there more of us than of them with “protection”. It’s hard to see how they will really implement their plan successfully.
I believe they will mainly detain those caught in the mainstream view that the government is responsible for their welfare. They will be the ones looting, protesting & trying to track down the politicians, bankers & the rich. Thus I believe the government will have their hands full with those types & will hopefully mainly leave the rest of us who just want to live our lives in peace.. Their main concern is retaining their resources & power for themselves but many who will get awoken out of their rosy denial with a major crash will be enraged & want revenge.. That’s how I see it anyway.
Before everyone screams pandemonium about the DHS buying all these rounds of Ammunition. Please take a step back and think for a second. Does anyone know how the government works and what kind of people work for Homeland security. If you do the mathematical formula. No one agent can carry all those rounds at once equally divided up. Most of that ammunition will not make it out of the warehouse or the armories if you know how the Federal government works.
We all see the Federal Bureaucracy as bloated, inefficient and slower then a turtle. They have incompetent people who have no common sense. The Government Bureaucrats are the most anal retentive control freaks and they are full of them. They have power trips with their own. I have a feeling that most of those bullets will collect dust before they are distributed to the agents. The government has control freaks that will try to control there own just as much as they do the average citizen outside of government. It is the nature of the bloated beast.
So when the agents are ready to deploy, they will have to submit paperwork and will have to account for every round used and have to return it in the manner it was issued. There will be much red tape and unnecessary paperwork. I really believe most of that ammunition will not be used because of an anal retentive bureaucracy who are incompetent and inefficient. I can see much needed ammunition being held up being distributed in the field because the agent did not dot ever I or cross every T. If they get issued rounds. It will very limited. Most of those rounds are not going nowhere.
Putting over one billion rounds in the hands of an incompetent and inefficient group of people is a recipe for disaster for DHS because the slow moving bureaucracy distributing ammunition. There are plenty of example of government not getting necessary supplies to their agents in the field because of bureaucratic incompetence. Many bureaucrats will let all those bullets sit there on the shelf than get distributed because of their petty power trip.
Yes I am concerned the US government purchasing all this ammunition. On the other hand we can count on incompetence in the bureaucracy to work in our favor keeping this ammunition in the warehouse going nowhere. DHS incompetence in the bureaucracy will be the downfall of the agency and the rest of the US government. Not Ron Paul supporters and 200 million gun owners.
