I don’t know if we’ll make it to the election either. The Fed has been continuously monetizing the debt. Now that they’re also buying mortgage backed securities, the dollar has entered the pre-avalanche phase. If China dumps their dollars at once that would crash the dollar. We could wake up one morning to find that gas is now $100 a gallon.
Yep…even at $10.00 a gallon would basically make it too expensive to travel to work, you’d lose so much money on the commute it wouldn’t be worth it, so I think people will just say f it at that point. The powers that be are keenly aware of these price/pressure points, as they have this stuff down to a mathematical equation. When the visible minions disappear, you can rest assured the collapse is imminent.
