Since Iran is a nation some three and three-quarters times bigger than Iraq and with a population nearly two and half times Iraq’s population and given the hard time the US and their allies had occupying Iraq, it is hardly likely that the US will be attempting to launch an invasion and occupation of Iran. This leaves the US with only one option to induce regime change; and that is to bomb it into submission via a massive bombing campaign against Iran’s government and defence facilities and institutions with possibly the threat of using nuclear weapons if Iran retaliates by using chemical or biological weapons. The US could even threaten to use nuclear weapons if Iran refuses to capitulate to US demands after the opening bombardment.

According to many international organisations, water is being used by Israel as a war weapon, threatening the life of the Palestinian people. Since the creation of the Zionist entity in Palestine, Israel has been working relentlessly on annexing Palestinian land and water sources lying beneath. Such a strategic design was confirmed in a document prepared, in 1941, by David Ben-Gurion (Israel’s first prime minister). In this document (which was released by the British Public Record Office) Ben-Gurion stated: “We have to remember that for the Jewish state’s ability to survive, it must have within its borders, the waters of [rivers] Jordan and Litani.”
Iran has drone photos of sensitive Israeli sites ~ link ~ Iran claims to have gleaned pictures of sensitive Israeli sites such as military bases and nuclear installations from an unmanned aircraft launched by the Lebanon-based Islamic militant group Hezbollah.
The drone sent pictures of Israeli sites before it was brought down by the Israeli forces, claimed Esmail Kowsari, one of Tehran’s senior parliamentarians.

There is word going around about an electrical device that mimics and amplifies the immune system. It is capable of killing off all pathogenic bacteria, viruses, and parasites. That was the original intent of its designers, to kill off viruses such as hepatitis and HIV.

Chinese plant compound wipes out cancer in 40 days, says new research – Reposting ~ link ~ A little-known plant with a truly bizarre name is now making headlines as a cancer killer, with the compound of the plant vanishing tumors in mice with pancreatic cancer. Known as the ‘thunder god vine’ or lei gong teng, the Chinese plant is actually integrated into Chinese medicine and has been used for ages in remedying a number of conditions including rheumatoid arthritis.
According to the new research out of the University of Minnesota’s Masonic Cancer Center, the thunder god plant compound led to no signs of tumors after a 40 day period — even after discontinuing the treatment. Published in the journal Science Translational Medicine and funded by the National Institutes of Health, even the scientists working on the project were stunned by the anti-cancer properties of the compound. Known to contain something known as triptolide, which has been identified as a cancer fighter in previous research, it is thought to be the key component that may be responsible for the anti-tumor capabilities.

majestic tall ship that was destroyed by a sea monster in one of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies was sunk Monday by an even fiercer foe — Hurricane Sandy.
The HMS Bounty was sent to Davy Jones’ Locker after the 17-man crew abandoned ship off North Carolina’s Outer Banks before the vessel headed for Davy Jones’ Locker, the Coast Guard reported.

Greek editor stands trial over Swiss accounts list ~ link ~ Costas Vaxevanis, editor of the “Hot Doc” weekly magazine, was arrested at the weekend for publishing the “Lagarde List” which French authorities gave to Athens in 2010 so that the account holders could be investigated for possible tax evasion.
The list – and the accompanying saga of how it was passed from one senior official to the next and misplaced at one point without anyone apparently taking action – has riveted Greeks who are angry with a political class which many believe is unwilling to crack down on the wealthy elite.

Follow the Money ~ link ~ In October of 2011, New Scientist reported that a scientific study on the global financial system was undertaken by three complex systems theorists at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland. The conclusion of the study revealed what many theorists and observers have noted for years, decades, and indeed, even centuries: “An analysis of the relationships between 43,000 transnational corporations has identified a relatively small group of companies, mainly banks, with disproportionate power over the global economy.” As one of the researchers stated, “Reality is so complex, we must move away from dogma, whether it’s conspiracy theories or free-market… Our analysis is reality-based.” Using a database which listed 37 million companies and investors worldwide, the researchers studied all 43,060 trans-national corporations (TNCs), including the share ownerships linking them.
The mapping of ‘power’ was through the construction of a model showing which companies controlled which other companies through shareholdings. The web of ownership revealed a core of 1,318 companies with ties to two or more other companies. This ‘core’ was found to own roughly 80% of global revenues for the entire set of 43,000 TNCs. And then came what the researchers referred to as the “super-entity” of 147 tightly-knit companies, which all own each other, and collectively own 40% of the total wealth in the entire network. One of the researchers noted, “In effect, less than 1 per cent of the companies were able to control 40 per cent of the entire network.” This network poses a huge risk to the global economy, as, “If one [company] suffers distress… this propagates.” The study was undertaken with a data set established prior to the economic crisis, thus, as the financial crisis forced some banks to die (Lehman Bros.) and others to merge, the “super-entity” would now be even more connected, concentrated, and problematic for the economy.
The Virtual Recovery ~ link ~ Since mid-2009 the US has been enjoying a virtual recovery courtesy of a rigged inflation measure that understates inflation. The financial Presstitutes spoon out the government’s propaganda that prices are rising less than 2%. But anyone who purchases food, fuel, medical care or anything else knows that low inflation is no more real that Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction or Gadhafi’s alleged attacks on Libyan protesters or Iran’s nuclear weapons. Everything is a lie to serve the power-brokers.
During the Clinton administration, Republican economists pushed through a change in the way the CPI is measured in order to save money by depriving Social Security retirees of their cost-of-living adjustment. Previously, the CPI measured the change in the cost of a constant standard of living. The new measure assumes that consumers adjust to price increases by lowering their standard of living by substituting lower quality, lower priced items. If the price, for example, of New York strip steak goes up, consumers are assumed to substitute the lower quality round steak. In other words, the new measure of inflation keeps inflation down by reflecting a lowered standard of living.
