Long Island N.Y. Police Department Enforcing A Curfew In Aftermath Of Hurricane Sandy

Not a town of 2900 under Martial Law.
It sounds like a logical thing, the place is devastated.
alot more than 2900. Long Island has a population of 7-10 million, 3-4 million alone in suffolk county. These towns under “Patrolled curfew” have a populace well over 100k each. the area closest to me under “patrolled Curfew” is the village of mastic beach in the town of brookhaven. mastic beach has a population of 120k
the combined population of the area where I reside that is under National Guard ” Patrolled Curfew” is 80k (Mastic beach, Mastic,Shirley) a tri-hamlet area. these numbers do not include all other areas under” PC” in NY and NJ, together we are looking at a number in teh millions are just short of 1.
edit: Together we are looking at a number in the millions, if not just short of 1.
It’s called sliding the Overton window. If they did it everywhere at once people would flip out. Baby steps. Boil the frog. This is the first step to all our greatest fears coming true. Enjoy the FEMA camps suckers.
In the world of paranoid delusions, every single thing is a “sign” or the “first step” towards something that doesn’t happen.

paranoid freaks! If your personal belongings were stretched out over three miles of beach and your neighbors and or strangers were picking ti up for their personal benefit, you would want someone , no! you would DEMAND someone to protect it.
“Paranoid freaks”? Are you with the government and you’re here to help?
If martial law was ever to be enacted, I think this would be a good place to do it.
Okay, we need to remember that God is in control. We need to turn our eyes and hearts to God and pray. God weeps that we don’t turn to Him. If you believe in God then you know this is just the type of huge impossible situation He wants us to pray to Him for help for! I’m praying for you right now. My prayer list warriors are praying for you. Let the Holy Spirit move among you and you will see miracles. I live in hurricane alley on the Gulf coast. In time of national disaster people stop and freeze in prayer. And then things happen. Help comes. I’m a former New Yorker (Levittown, Queens Village and Poughkeepsie) so it was all pretty new to me, to see this power of prayer. But it works. Just praying for first the peace beyond all understanding to fall upon everyone, and then what resources or lack of resources you have right now, that they are enough to get you by until real help comes. Even though the news is stifled, you are not forgotten.
Why are folks so “shocked” by this—-everytime there is a disaster curfew is implemented or do you folks not watch the constant news reports during and after a disaster???
Sounds like Obama’s got it ALL in control, lol.
What would he do with a storm like Katrina, that Bush had to deal with??
